*an adventurer in dark clothing reads the notice, then spits on the ground with contempt, and glances around at the passersby saying "nice to know that the Crown supports kidnappers, and torturers", then walks away, muttering "What's next? Ranan going to receive a knighthood for his attempt at bringing law, and order, to Cormyr?"* |

*A white robed, hooded, and cloaked man takes heed of the notice, flashes a grin from beneath his darkened hood and remarks in a low tone, barely audible above the goins on of the town: *
"...Peril...what do the fools know of peril? Useless cattle..."
* A yellowish mist escapes from staff, which is covered in oozing sores and puss. The mist kills a few gnats from the ever present cloud circling the staff, and then disappates with the scent of diseased flessh hanging on the air*
*The robed figure then turns, and walks off, northward...out of town*
