The Order of the Immortal Quill Do you have a desire to delve into the dark and forgotten places of Cormyr with a worthy goal? Do you have an intrest in the rare and wonderful? Do you have a curiousity about the ages long past and the history of the Forest Kingdom? Would you rather see possibly unique items of magic in a place of safety and academic study as opposed to in the hands of artifact hawkers seeking to line their own pockets? If you answer yes to any of these questions, you should seek membership in the Order of the Immortal Quill. Inquire at the Alizarin Academy of Bardic and Arcane Lore by letter or in person. The Order of the Immortal Quill is envisioned to be a uniting of scholars, adventurers, and treasure hunters who wish to engage in both expeditions to recover lost items of magical and historical significance, and in the resulting study of these recovered objects. The Order will be sponsored and headquartered out of the Alizarin Academy of Bardic and Arcane Lore, and it's contributing members will have unregulated acess to the guest quarters of the Academy. Members will be welcome to engage in extended stays at the Academy and to make full use of it's library and hospitality. In this members will benefit from the amassed lore of Alizarin, and the guidance of it's members in the expeditions and studies they undertake. Members need not focus on taking up permenant membership in Alizarin to join the order, instead this will be similar to the 'fellows' programs of other Bardic Colleges and Arcane Academies throughout the realms. Dues will not be compulsory, but donations to the causes of Alizarin in the form of money, treasure, and magical objects would be appreciated. In the end, all that is truly asked is that the forementioned objects of magical and historical value be brought to Alizarin to be recorded and temporarily housed for study. The chance for the Academy to make offers on such items that the owners will sell for their own profit in any case will also be appreciated. The Academy environment will contribute to further education and the free exchange of ideas among artists, scholars, musicians, arcanists, and philosophers as an added bonus to the banding together of like minded treasure hunters for a common cause. -The Bard, Alyster Darkharp //OOC: Guild membership in Alizarin is not required for participation in the Order of the Immortal Quill. PM me in the form of a letter or find me IC if interested.

Just wanted to let everyone in the Alizarin Guild know that I think this idea of player run guilds has to be the single greatest idea of 2008. I know the Keryma'Mista'Arael are working on one and now I see that Oghrann's Hammer have one too. I'm sure the other guilds will follow soon as well. This will allow a lot of players to interact on a deeper level with other guilds than their "native" guild. Thumbs up to you guys.
