I really LOVE playing druids, but I've been flirting with the idea of taking a few levels of Monk. The benefits are obvious, better AC for those beefed up WIS scores as well as some extra attacks in shifted form. My biggest concern is the roleplay. I don't want to play a powerbuild just because he would kick butt.
I haven't played many monks, so the overall concept is not something that I know much about. Maybe you can give me some insight. I know all monks are not Caine from Kung-Fu. How about a monk that follows the "discipline" of nature.
Anyway, any help is appreciated. Also, don't feel concerned about telling me, "Are you kidding me? That just won't work." I have no problem playing a pure druid.

This I'm going to say hold off on making this combo. We DMs have been discussing this for a while, and should be close to a decision.
For a fact, the Druid/Monk/Shifter combination is not allowed.

The rules are being revised and should be available to view in your journal very soon after the module is back online. No more rulebook IG - the information will be found broken down into chapters in your journal....assuming this project is a success! There are still a couple of minor matters that are under debate at the moment, but a revised version of these rules will also be appearing on the forum in the next day or so and replacing the outdated rules. To answer your question....Monk/Druids is a banned combination.

After some more reasearch, soul searching, and reviewing the rules, I agree with this decision. Actually, it's not that big of a deal since I'm going to play a TN Druid so I couldn't be a Monk anyway. Guess I'll just have to pure Druid it. Better RP anyway. Thanks for the quick responses.

Don't worry too much about "just" being a pure druid. They can be plenty strong on their own. Just ask padrin and taran see ya ig
