My wife and I just finished watching the first season of Lost.. and we are hooked. Trying to find when Season 2 will be released when I came across programs that are P2P like Bitlord, Bitcomet and Azureus. I have DL and tried them but cannot get them to work. I also cannot find any type of user manual for them. If anyone knows an easy program or a manual on setting one up and running it, could you let me know? Thanks in advance…. I really want to see season 2.

First off, I assume that when you say you downloaded them, what you really meant was that you bought the DVD's and backed them up on your computer, right? Good.
First off, when you say you can't get them to work, what does that mean? When you load it into a media player it gives you an error? (If so, what error?) Or is it not registered with a media player at all (it will probably have a blank icon, rather then one of the windows media player icons over the video). What file type is it? (ie: .avi .mkv .mpg etc.)
My guess is you don't have the proper codec installed -- They are the different plugins for your media player that allows it to decode the video from the file and display it on your screen. If you can give me a bit more information, I'd be happy to help you with your perfectly legitamate video file copies.

/slaps himself across the face You can't get the torrent programs to work properly? That's different entirely. My preferred torrent client for legal downloads is Azereus (You'll need to download both the Azereus java client, and the latest version of the java runtime environment -- both found at azureus.sourceforge.net/) After you install a torrent program, you will need to download the tracker file from any number of sites. You get the tracker file and load it up into your torrent program. From there, it will begin the download. I'm not always the best at explainations, so feel free to ask more questsions, preferrably a bit more narrow ;D ~Gallin

You got it right with the 2nd one Gallin Its the program I could not get to work. I was trying Azureus but kept getting a NAT error on my port. I corrected that by turning off my virus protector But now I cannot figure out how to DL all of my legitmate and legal movies I own for backups ;D and such I did not DL the Java Runtime (I did not see it) So I will give that a go. Man back in its time Napster was so much easier. Once I get the Java Runtime, what do I need to do? You can send me a PM if it will take up too much forum space. Thanks for all of your help ;D

If you can actually run Azereus, then there's no need to download the Java (It's listed on the Azereus homepage as a JRE download).
On Napster, there was a search button. On torrents, there are none. Instead, you go to torrent sites, where you can download .torrent files. They all have their own search engines, and if you run a search for "Lost" you should be able to come up with a few good hits. The torrent file itself is usuall under 100 kB, not large files. It contains the information your torrent program (such as Azereus) needs to connect to the network that is sharing the file. In this case, it's telling Azereus where to connect to find the people that you can download Lost from. It's a bit more complicated then that, but that's all you really need to know. If you're still curious, there's always wikipedia. Check your PM's.
