Okay. So I made this new rogue character, put some good skill points on pick pocket and started to play. I wanted to pick pocket a pc, but the option does not appeat when I click on one. But it does when I click on an npc. So I have two questions: is it against the rules to pickpocket npcs? If it is, sorry, I did it, won't do anymore. The second question is: how do I pick pc's pockets??? Do I have to toggle hostile first? That would suck. What do I have to do? Sorry if I'm asking stupid questions I should already know the answer to. Haven't been playing so long on this server.

I've never played a pick pocket (so a different DM will be better at answering this) but another thing that may effect pick pocketing is if the area is a no PVP area.
The server will tell you what type of area you have entered every time you change areas.

It's also considered a courtesy to let a player know after they've been pick pocketed (doesn't have to be while you're still in sight) and what you've taken.
It isn't required, but it shows respect for the other player.

Oh and one more thing...if your low level rogue gets caught pick pocketing a higher level PC prepare yourself for jail time at best or a serious beatdown! Like Quendros is for posting in the DM questions board.
