Hope I haven't missed answers on those two spells elsewhere in this forum.
A) Timestop: exactly how it should be RPed on the server? Last server I played on, the convention was, that everyone caught in the timestop, doesn't remember the caster actually casting the spell, and doesn't remember anything taking place for the duration of the spell. How should we RP it here?
B) Tenser's Transformation: The spell is supposed to grow the caster's muscle and physical attributes, but afaik -not- shapechange him to a monster. However the visuals can create awkward situations. How should it be rped? I usually RP it by emoting that the char grows physically with lots of muscles and a flaming weapon appears in his hand. Should we RP it as actually turning into the form Bioware has chosen?
Thanks in advance for any replies.

In response to I've always played it that way as well. And I go one step further by mocking whatever caster claiming to have 'stopped time' as that notion is just absurd. I come up with other (equally absurd but more acceptable) reasons to explain any differences that may have occured between the beginning and the end of the time stop spell...if a caster stops time and uses that time to 'flee or get away from a scene' then it's obvious that he just used an enhanced invisibility of some kind...etc etc...these moments usually provide a bit of humor to the scene as well (unless we just got our butts kicked while time was stopped...at which point the RP is that some other form of deadly magik was used against us...but....stopping time? what an absurd idea! I didn't see time 'stop'...heh.) As far as this... My character is not a caster. I RP with what I see on the screen and that's a monster. My characters are notorious for attacking casters who shapechange into 'monstrous' shapes...even if they are allies I am partied with, if I did not SEE them change shape, and they did not THINK to warn me in advance...I happily start kicking their ass when/if I get the chance. Yeah...good times.

Thanks for the response. I just wanted to clarify because conventions are different on different servers. I presume then, that whatever is seen on screen (Engine Effects) should actually be RPed exactly the same way. Thanks for clarifying the Timestop thing as well, because on another server I encounted many situations where players wouldn't know how to react to it, and thought their chars saw everything that happened while others RPed it like the didn't, creating ... different scene for different people

This is just an opinion. My opinion is not the rules and you can roleplay the situation a different way. In fact, I am not even sure why I posted to this forum since I know I am not supposed to.
I do beleive that in that representation of tensors, you shouldn't start kicking a casters ass, for shapeshifting. Heck if a big burly fighter type came out of no where and started fight my enemies you don't just attack him. Plus the caster can still tall in tensors, thus when you RP it and go What the hell is that. the Cast go 'Hi its (insert mage here). well then you slide your big sword into something less threatening like that undead drow over there.> (insert dead drow)
I use the polymorph spell alot.. Heck Liaden and Maxwell, and a few other characters are used to it. Entori is known as the guy who 'likes the being a big bug' ... heck anything that allows me to rip up ogres is great. but imagine every time I use the spell some keener in the part start whooping on me. I'd be pissed.
I'd like to start a new movement.. DOSSM
Defense of Shapeshifting Mages.

P.S. Entori no longer wishes to be a part of the War Wizards. In fact, if he ever is talking about joining, please consider him insane!
