After the meeting with Kiri, Cooper mounted Mayo his fine steed and let her start walking back to Arabel, preferring to take in the roadways beauty rather than to use magic to return quickly. Asides from the woodlands and forest paths, taking the long route gave him time to ponder over his recent discovery. Leaning back in the saddle and tugging out one of his many leather bound rune covered notebooks, he made a note, careful not to let his writing scratch on the paper as Mayo rhythmically wandered along. He thought about his meeting with Kiri, an interesting character, significantly smarter than she looks, not that she looks simple or anything, he was just surprised at how perspicacious she was. Definitely one to keep an eye out for, given the new discovery. Cooper made a note about their meeting: *Two lower jaw Orc Shaman tusks, an orc banner, an approximate number in the tribe(s) if possible and a live Stonelands goblin*. The Mage figured she would know those able enough to complete the mission without too much difficulty and as discussed had left it with her to get her adventurer group together. The promise of a free warm bed and food at the Elfskull Inn would likely be enough to secure their attention and discuss a plan. Looking up he realised he had been scribbling all sorts in his note book, mostly ideas for Arabel and had as luck would have it travelled further than he thought, noticing the sun dipping towards the horizon casting a pinking red haze in the distance. Sitting in the saddle he hoped it was a good omen for things to come and ran his fingers over his blue cloak hoping one day to find where his Nemesis had gone to hiding. Bunnyhug

Following the chance encounter with Cooper, Kiri jotted down a few other notes in her journal, seeming deeply thoughtful for a long moment. After minutes passed, she put on a soft smile and returned to the brazier set out sometime before, socializing with those who remained. Yet, the conversation lingered in her mind...
"What darkness, if any, has attached itself to this man?"
The coming days are sure to prove interesting.
