Bio:
From a young age, Saelzira was used to nomadic lifestyles thanks to often occurring monster attacks in the Western Heartlands. She and her Father eventually came to Evereska, the secretive elven settlement in the Heartlands. Being a half elf, Zira was treated as one would expect in an elven community. She learned very quickly of what was expected of her and how she should act around her elders. Some tolerated her antics while the older groups of elves were less than amused. Zira would often stay near the other half elves, so she did not cause to many problems. As the years went on for her, her father eventually handed her an amulet. He told her than she was to never let it go or lose it. To always keep it around her neck. Even when she was young Zira didn't quite understand the importance of this amulet, but she obeyed her father's wishes and wore it around her neck. Never taking it off.
By the time she was Sixteen Zira was sent to train in a Monastery of the Old Order. Here she studied martial arts and the dogmas of four dieties that had caught her interest. The main deity was Akadi, the Queen of Air. Zira would often change her style of fighting to flow and weave around her opponents. The next was Ohgma, Zira was always excited to learn of past events. What old empires were like, where cities rose and fell and by who. The third was Tymora, needless to say Zira always felt like praying to the Lucky Goddess would help her one day. Be it avoiding a scolding from her mentors about how she can't shrink from her cleaning duties, or finding a large sum of coin so she can spoil herself with sweets. Lastly the fourth was Loviatar, the Maiden of Pain. One wouldn't think that a girl like Saelzira would follow a goddess like Loviatar, however Zira was smart enough to understand that pain was inevitable. She was going to face it time after time. Her choices were to either submit to it and break. Or to embrace it and learn from it so that she doesn't not make the same mistakes again.
For nine years she trained in the monastery, a few months ago she left to start her pilgrimage. Where the winds will take her, what her story holds in store, how luck will grace her, and when the pain strikes; is all a mystery to her. Only recently has she made it to Cormyr.
