Peasants, Provisions and Posterity ((Ongoing RP thread))

    A new day had broken in the western reaches and it was an unpleasant one. The bleak morning was framed by the crescendo of hammering rain and harrowing wind. The poor inhabitants of the Valkur's Roar Slums where retreating to their hovels and whatever shelter they could find in the hopes it would shield them from the elements. Stood in the centre of the slums where a male and a female couple. They both wore clothing of a high quality and their red cloaks danced in partnership with the winds movements. Their hoods where pulled up against the rain but they had taken special efforts to make sure their faces where clearly visible.

    They carried two large rucksacks with them which they had placed on the groud, resting against their legs. They had taken to a shelter of their own but they continued to invite people to join them under cover. Towards those that approached them, they where friendly and polite. They inquired about the health, nutrition and any issues those who resided within the slums may have. They did not approach people directly. They seemed to be allowing the residents to approach them as they wished to.

    They gifted a new woolen cloak and hood to each individual they spoke with, sometimes more, depending on family circumstance and if they had been made aware of an individual having a family. They also offered parcels wrapped in a brown paper to the individuals they spoke with. They contained a variety of fruit, vegetables, bread and clean water. The male was even seen to be curing minor ailments and diseases.

    The couple had stayed for the majority of the morning, exiting once they had handed out all of their gifts, with promises that they would return.
