Is there an "invisible" cloak option for characters who don't want a cloak to appear, or would rather use the cloak from the "neck" craft slot on the character instead? I've cycled through the options on the cloak, and can't find one.

Hola, there is via toolset, but if I'm not mistaken via frc rules if you gain a benefit from a cloak type item, then a cloak or some form of it should be visible. I hate cloaks myself to be honest, which is why I usually travel without one. Gots to look fly even when I do... because no cloak boost There are some interesting variants you can create via color option tricks like a scarf or a diaphanous cloak, if those interest you.

There are certain cloak appearances that allow for "hidden" sections. When you see characters with only shoulder-length or jester cloaks for example, that's what they're using. It depends on what section of the cloak can be hidden, such as Leather 1 or 2 / Cloth 1 or 2 but whichever one it is you use the Hidden Color - Mirror. Not every cloak option is capable of this; only the ones that can be shoulder-length, the Kik Me option, and the spider webs option I believe.

Thank you both. Sometimes it's a struggle just to get an appearance "just right".

Thank you both. Sometimes it's a struggle just to get an appearance "just right". The struggle is real. On a side note, if you hate the new metal shine in the 16 update, you can disable it in options so things like obsidian look obsidian and not dusky grey.
