Eranin Ketia and A'irea

A brief observation:
Eranin is a short woman with a slight frame; small and thin. Though most often wearing a dark hood, her face is easily visible.
She has bright clear blue eyes and light blonde hair, her skin is pale and clear.
She is seen almost always wearing a large backpack, which oddly seems to shuffle, and adjust at times, of its own accord. The woman bears various collections of magical trinkets and tools, as well as various thick tomes, and scrolls tucked within bags and pouches all about her person she has the clear mark of one who studies things arcane.
She has the badge of the Valkur's Roar Mage Guard Sergeant pinned to the strap of her backpack, and a Purple Dragon rank pin denoting her as a Swordmajor.

After further study and scrutiny:
One may notice that Eranin rarely ever actually opens her mouth at all, and never, ever speaks.
Her hands are thin, and delicate with long fingers stained slightly at the tips with ink. With movements of her hands, writing, and casting spells - they function and move with an incredible amount of practiced grace and purpose to each and every motion being efficient.
The backpack she wears, with its oddly animated nature might be revealed, as a coppery-bronze Pseudodragon on occasion peeks it's head out and scans around with a vigilantly suspicious gaze.
One of the books she keeps bound to her with a leather strap has various blue runes across the spine that glow and pulsate very faintly in a dark light. She touches this tome on a regular basis, running her fine-boned fingers across it gently.
Eranin appears fairly young, in her early twenties, but with the way she carries herself, and the depth to her large eyes, there is quiet confidence within her, and one may infer that she has seen a lot in her years already.
Born in 1362 in Athkatla, Amn, Eranin is the daughter of a fairly successful businessman.
Eranin left Amn at the age of 15 to travel to Cormyr, and continue practicing her craft and love for the arcane.

A'irea "Airy", the 100% real dragon:
A'irea is a very vocal, and very spirited pseudrodragon, whom serves as Eranin's lifelong companion and speaking-aid.
He dwells mostly within her backpack, where he can be heard speaking out whenever something is heard he desires to comment on, or argue over. He has bronzey-brown scales, and yellow-amber eyes.
He can often be heard speaking on his love for wealth, beef, and gems.

Having met Eranin in 1377, A'irea took it upon himself to not only serve as her familiar - but as some sort of guiding and protective figure in her life. He assisted her journey from Amn to Cormyr in 1377.

Equipment and appearance
Backpack:
Eranin is rarely seen without her trusty backpack. A large and work accessory, with several smaller pockets and sections sewn in. It is dyed in a grey-blue hue, and several small details are pinned and worked into it.
The straps where Eranin's right shoulder would have two badges pinned in, the Valkur's Roar Mage Guard, and a Purple Dragon pin denoting her rank as a Firstsword.
Lashed to the side, ever-present and ready on hand is a tall silver staff tipped with blue swirling light.
Seastorm's Staff:
The tall silvery staff lashed to Eranin's backpack is lovingly polished and cared for. Its structure seems simple but pretty, and tipped with a crescent shaped hooked detail holding some magical evocation binding in place. Lashed at the forward facing end of the staff, Eranin's old, and worn Greatgaunt Volunteer badge is attached.
Spellwoven Chain:
Often when in the field, or on duty, Eranin wears a shirt of silvery-blue mithral chain, woven tightly and practically to her form, topped with a short outer layer akin to a jacket.
In dim lighting, a faint sparkle and sheen of blue can occasionally be seen, as a flawless sapphire has been woven into the protective armour and imbued with permanent magics to expand ones mind.
Longbow:
A sturdy longbow woven and bound with the easily recognisable Stormhorn Survival make. Her bow carries a forward facing protective dome, similar to a buckler, for punching, and disengaging fromenemies that are too close.
Wands:
Attached to her pack, belts, straps and sheathed in leather slots, several wands are slotted into place, made of simple clean metals, or rarely treated woods.
Each wand is worked and crafted, with an artistic spiralling stick, and tipped with various different angled crystal heads, for the apparent different uses.
Spell Components:
Bound at her waist, across her chest, in her pack, and any other unused space Eranin seems to hold various pouches, bottles, and containers full of sparkling powders, nubs of blue chalk, various colours of sand, soot, guano, insects, strips of different metals, feathers, incense sticks, etc.
Smiting Club
A short metal rod with coppery metal rings up the length of it, stamped with arcane runes of deconstruction, holding an enchantment focused towards breaking golems and constructs.
Lucky Shortsword
'Because Kaleran always said to keep a small blade handy'. Eranin now has, folded into her robes, belts and pouches, a light weight sheathed Shortsword chill with frosty magic woven into it by her own doing. Through perhaps some blessing of Tymora, the blade seems to be a measure of fortune in Eranin's favor, a small chain is attached to the hilt, wherein a lucky coin dangles.

A brief history (minor spoilers):
Eranin is a human woman from Amn, and a studied wizard. Her familiar, the pseudodragon known as A'irea is known to be loudmouthed and direct, and often times acts as Eranin's voice, as she herself is mute. Despite that, Eranin is known to practice high circle arcane magic, using the Metamagic Silent Spell in order to do so, as well as various stored magics such as wands and rods. She is unable to use scrolls, however, due to the verbal component, but has on very rare occasions used A'irea, directly controlling him to read the words aloud, and invoke the magic.
Eranin arrived in Cormyr during the year 1377 DR, and soon after, came to be a member of the Greatgaunt Volunteers for a few years, as well as apprentice magi to Arician Hellsacrem, AKA "Blue". After leaving the Volunteers, she travelled onward and joined the Royal Corps of Monster Hunters as a squire alongside several others, as Jabari, Bao, and Nemea.
During her time in the Volunteers and as a Squire, Eranin experienced such things as the destruction of Hilp, numerous attacks from within, and without, upon Cormyr, the Sembian-Cormyrean border hostilities, the Eldreth Veluuthra in the Hullack, and many other events.
And while many of the people she joined the RCMH as a squire alongside have moved on, or left Cormyr, Eranin continued and eventually was promoted to the rank of Firstsword, alongside A'irea, who also partook in training, and trials himself, earning his own individual right to promotion and membership in the RCMH.
While some have offered to help Eranin reclaim her voice, she has for various reasons continued to refuse the aid, and remains mute - though the strain of only being able to cast magics silently is a burden, she seems more than adamant that it's to prove some sort of point.
Since becoming a Firstsword in the Corps, and after various hiatus and extended periods of leave to travel, Eranin has focused mostly on her lifelong pursuit and study of magic, spending much of her funding and time researching the arcane and attempting to create her own magics, as well as opening her own small bushiness in the of enchantment of magical items.
Later, Eranin departed the RCMH and took to a sabbatical, travelling Faerun for a couple of years, going to The North, researching old magics and lost magical lore. She returned, early 1387, finding many of her companions and friends had moved on, or departed Cormyr.
After reaching out towards old friends, meeting new, and applying her abilities towards organisations such as the Valkur's Roar Reserves, and the RCMH, Eranin found herself pleasantly surprised, and pleased with her company and those who remembered her from years past.
Following the Art Show of Vasim Visk, and an upcoming Merchants Faire, an inspired Eranin tried her hand at painting and artwork - finding a way to express and capture feelings in a way she was previously unable to truly evoke and present to others, and she continued to paint and work on pieces frequently, from capturing how she feels and things that are on her mind, to people who she recollects and captures in her works.
And all through her time, in Cormyr, and abroad, she continued to work on her research into a powerful transmutation spell aptly titled 'A'irea Alteration'...
And found challenges and tasks to focus upon in the Reserves and Mage Guard of Valkur's Roar, including visiting the destroyed Ashen Isle, and facing a 'mortal hellscape' there alongside fellow Reservists...
And bearing witness to the bravery, and the sacrifice of a beautiful golden light...
