Early in Flamerule in the Year of Three Streams Blooded couriers in royal livery ride through the realm of Cormyr, dispatched from the Crown City of Suzail to address the Crown's people.
They make their way out from Suzail through the cities, towns, villages, and hamlets of the realm. On city gates, in town squares, and at crossroads of the realm the couriers proclaim and post copies of the Royal Decree.

And all those Beings Sworn to Him
to the Crown's Rule.

In the days that follow the Crown's proclamation, something else is tacked beside the Royal Decree. The added leaf of parchment is small and the lettering is the same as before, simple and neat.
We the Faithful Shall Remember
Harp Unstrung the Woeful Year
Up in flame the Lady's Timber
Cobbles Wet with Blood and Tears
Beneath their Weight the Ground Trembled
Marching Beneath Devil Dragon's Wings
None Spared in Home, Tavern, Temple
After Ten and Three Years We Sing
Songs of Love Lost and Kin's Blood Shed
When this Orc Swears before Our King
Honor Our Dead, Wear the Scarlet Thread
In Sullen Graves Rest Ours who Fell
For their memory, Wear the Scarlet Thread
Young King Remember Arabel
All Cormytes Brave, Wear the Scarlet Thread
We the Faithful Shall Remember.

Upon seeing the new parchment, Delvar comments with the passing-by:
-Well, as grunpa used to say: when ye raise snakes eventually ye get bitten.

Yoriko studies the Greatgaunt parchment with great interest upon its first appearance, then makes haste for the caravans, headed for the most out-of-the-way settlements each in turn. She pays extra for a swift journey, hoping to find one where the Knights of the True Dragon haven't put their parchment up just yet, there to stake out the location in hiding and wait to see who comes to put up the 'Knights' latest proclamation.
(DM Hawk or others - feel free to PM if Yoriko may be able to find anything this way.)

Aella looks at the message next to the proclamation in Roar and sighs a bit.
"Did I not say something like this would occure last Eve?"
After this point the young monk keeps her ears open for any hushed words related to the Knights of the True Dragon
((DM's can pm Aella if she hears anything around Roar))

"Hmm … what is this?" Fiara Firemantle stops to read the proclamation about Urbuchek's oath swearing, her flame red hair tumbling down the shoulders of her brilliant red robe. "Well this sounds interesting. I think I'll have to attend." She wanders away, not reading the notice about the read threads...

Dorn reads the notices, once again shaking his head at the humans' seeming ignorance of history and mathematics. But the Clan Elders have said to play nice, and as a sworn defender of Oghrann that's what he'll do.
"I s'pose tis quite a feather in Wyvernspur's cap, t'be ridin' inta Suzail declarin' 'Peace fer our time.' Might even get him a promotion from Marshal t'Chamberlain."
Finishing his Triple Bock, he then proceeds to the Thrymgavin barracks to polish his formal suit of armor for the ceremony.

Ariean reads one of the notes and then mutters under her breath
"It doesn't say here where we're to go?"
She keeps any comments about peace-bonded weapons to herself.
Rowan reads one of the notes and it's obvious that she's keeping an internal debate with herself on several subjects. She leaves looking more thoughtful than she tends to appear.
She can be heard muttering something about gentry.

Passing by on a slow walk in Valkur's Roar, Mynian sees both the notification and the added note. She mostly looks at the added parchment for a very long and quiet moment.
Her only reaction is to heave a somewhat exhausted sigh, then move on to continue her path.

Squeaks when she reads the small note. Turning around she heads back through the gates of Valkurs Roar.

// I had logged off for a time, and missed the actual oath... is there someone who could send me a log covering the time when the orc Herald began to sing up to when Myrmeen Lhal left? I'd appreciate it.
