A handful of Valkur's Roar Guardsman ride out of the city gates bearing missives from the High Inquisitor.
They pause only briefly at the crossroads, taverns, and gathering places of the Western Reach of Cormyr to tack up the notices. Two riders make their way beyond the bounds of the Western Reach, one for Suzail and one for Proskur and the Standing Stone Inn of the Thayan Enclave.
Whether placed in the Western Reach settlements such as Valkur's Roar or Greatgaunt or in Suzail or Proskur the missives are the same...
Hear ye, Hear ye,
Let it be known that by the order of the sponsors of the Western Reach Alliance -
The individuals holding office beneath the pretender lord Matthias Zorastryl of Zorastyl Keep
The same individuals who joined Matthias Zorastryl in refusing an edict of eviction by the Suzail Court as presented by Lord Marister Zorastryl
and the same individuals who joined in armed resistance against the forces of the Western Reach Alliance who were rightfully enforcing the law of the land
are hereby summoned to the Great Hall of Valkur's Roar to give an accounting for their actions and to face a tribunal of judgement.
The acting tribunal shall be composed of
Baron Azorus Crownsilver of Valkur's Roar
Sir Callen of Greatgaunt, Representing the Council
Lord Marister Zorastryl of Zorastryl Keep
Those individuals who fail to appear or otherwise appropriately respond to this summons shall be held in contempt of Cormyrian Law and in defiance of the Crown's appointed Lords of the region.
