In Shallybrook, a group of busking bards and friends joined up one evening and played a chaotic, noisy jam session of great songs, improvised poetry and stories. The music played on harp, fiddle, tan-tan, yartings, pipes and more is said to have gone on all night and some of the morning before the tired bards eventually departed for drinks and sleep.

Those passing by, might have seen a straw-haired hin in a green poofy dress... hip thrusting to the music... well ah, to her own beat with no sensible rhythm or musical talent.

*Marister had come out of the inn, garbed in his prayer robes he wore at Greengrass, His sacred staff in hand and waited.*
Osecian Lyre-Chant: *thumbs up* Marister you're up! Orichan Tailor: **stays sitting comfrtably in the table* Marister: *His voice a warm and even tenor, the poem free verse the rhythm lulling in tempo like a lullaby* Davina Lyre-Chant : *she listens, picks up the dreamy tunes and plays along* Osecian Lyre-Chant: *plays mellow notes under it* Chell Floudirian: *softly and shortly picks the strings...* Marister: I greet you all today as a forest walker is my way. I pray you do not fear the wilds for nature sees you as its child Osecian Lyre-Chant: *skittering effect like leaves* Marister: Walk slow and calm Orichan Tailor: **strums softly out of tune, complimenting odd notes and moments* Chell Floudirian: *mimics water on his violin* Marister: Listen, ....Listen,.... Hear the winds,... feel the gentle caress, Hear the birds singing in their nests Davina Lyre-Chant : *her tunes turn more flowing and harmonic* Osecian Lyre-Chant: *chiming notes* Chell Floudirian: *mimics birds tweeting* Marister: Look ye at the trees and see a variety of life's history Oh what tales could they tell, In the places that animals dwell, Osecian Lyre-Chant: *deeper notes* Marister: The animals can teach us well Orichan Tailor: **playing soft music on the harp to no particular tune* Chell Floudirian: *tries to make variety of animal sounds....* Davina Lyre-Chant : *she smiles, playing softly along* Marister: To know how amongst nature to dwell, Listen to the babbling brook and streams Sit by their banks and have pleasant dreams Osecian Lyre-Chant: *makes a noise like water on his strings by dragging his scaled hand along it like a slide guitar* Marister: The creatures are friends, kin Chell Floudirian: *attempts to follow Oz, making wave like sounds....* Marister: Be respectful walking the forest within The forest can provide what one needs from the simplest berry to the water reeds Davina Lyre-Chant : *her harp might mimic wind amd water in a changing manner* Marister: If one tread with care one can watch the bear or the deer Osecian Lyre-Chant: *chuffing growl* Chell Floudirian: *mimics deer run* Marister: Should you seek the animal for meat respect the live given to eat Thank the animal and use it all ,fur, skin, teeth and claw Chell Floudirian: *makes..... bruttal sounds..... * Marister: If you can not use all you take, bury the animal and pray for its sake Davina Lyre-Chant : *her sound go thoughtfull, almost sacral, speaking of respect* Marister: For as it will return to the soil as will you after your mortal toil Chell Floudirian: *he atunes to Marister voice, and only plays siletnly as he speaks,, leaving the tone resonating after every verse....* Osecian Lyre-Chant: *solemn tone, chiming like a bell* Marister: Respect the forest way Marister: For as Mielikki says "The wild ways are good ways Orichan Tailor: **plinks and plonks at the strings* Chell Floudirian: *shows Mielikkis symbol on his cloak* Marister: Now my tale is done and back to the forest goes this one Osecian Lyre-Chant: *warmer tone creeps back in, brighter and more expansive* Marister: *bows* Orichan Tailor: **applauds* Osecian Lyre-Chant: *claps* thanks Marister! (ooc poem uninterrupted)
I greet you all today as a forest walker is my way. Walk slow and calm Listen, Listen,.... Hear the winds....., feel the gentle caress, Hear the birds singing in their nests Look ye at the trees and see a variety of life's history
The animals can teach us well To know amongst nature, how to dwell, Listen to the babbling brook and streams Sit by their banks and have pleasant dreams
The creatures are friends, kin Be respectful walking the forest within The forest can provide what one needs from the simplest berry to the water reeds
If one tread with care ,one can watch the bear or the deer Should you seek the animal for meat respect the live given to eat Thank the animal and use it all ,fur, skin, teeth and claw If you can not use all you take, bury the animal and pray for its sake For as it will return to the soil as will you after your mortal toil
Respect the forest way For as Mielikki says "The wild ways are good ways".
