*A flyer posted around some of the major cities of Cormyr*
On this the 5th day of Alturiak, an Ominous message appeared in the town of Greatgaunt. The message states that if the Lash is not Delivered within three days time, that Shallybrook will be attacked.
It is my belief that Shallybrook is in real danger so I, Zero, have taken it upon myself to organize a defense of the small town of Shallybrook.
Any that are able to aid in the defense of Shallybrook please see me, Zero, I will be staying at the Inn of the Golden Maiden if I am not around just leave a message with the Barkeep.
Regards, Zero
P.S. I would like to meet with any who are willing tomorrow at the Inn of the Golden Maiden to discuss defensive strategies at approximately *insert appropriate time (9:30 pm Central time or 3:30 am GMT)* o'clock

Messengers are dispatched on horseback from the Gates of the Triad to Thrymsgavin, Thunderstone, and Suzail.
//Martel, check your PM. RCMH and War Wizards look at the Urgent Letter thread out in the letters to prominent NPC subforum. Unfortunately can't link it for some reason from my phone right now.

Zero's plea to the adventuring community has been heard tonight. While many questions still remain unanswered, a rough plan of defense has been formed. Adventurers have been asked to stay near Shallybrook and be ready to aid at a moments notice. They have also been asked to encourage the locals to evacuate the town in case of an attack.
The Dwarves and the Triadic Order have offered their aid as well as the RMCH.
The War Wizards have been notified but no official word has been released so Zero goes now to plead for their aid.
She has been seen waiting for an audience in the War Wizards tower in the Suzail City Core. She scribbles letters and rests on the cold stone floor hoping that someone will see her soon.

Zero continues to shore up the defenses and works with adventurers to see them completed. There is now a series of barricades in front of the Burrow of the Nurturing Maiden and the entrance to the Mystran Grove. They are currently passable, but one would move through them with caution. Large poles have been erected with gnomish smoke makers at the top to help obscure vision of the town from the skies.
While not all of the citizens of the village have chosen to leave, some have made the trip to Suzail to weather the storm in the safety of the Temple of the Defenders and the House of Healing. Those that could not make the trip may have stayed in their homes or may have gone to the temple of Mystra to find refuge.
By all accounts the town would look to be ready for some sort of attack.

*Daphne wakes after a goodnight's rest after finishing her shift of watching Shallybrook alongside Uldreyn and Arician. Although rest came swift, her dreams were plagued by thoughts of what was to come upon the dawn. With a prod in Uldreyn's side, she attempts to wake him; one dreary opens.*
"Come on lazy, time to get up... We've a lot to prepare for..."

On council of some of her friends, Zero decides to extinguish the smoke makers, but leaves them in place just in case they can be useful later

The Keep of the Triadic Order is heavily manned this day. Barricades are built up by the bridge and any pilgrims passing through Eveningstar would be alerted that the Temple of the Divine Resurrection is not accepting visitors at this time.
Barricades have been set up blocking the bridge and the pass to the north. Guards man the towers, and a guard is prepared to set a signal fire in the case of any coming attacks.
The temple's bell rings and the scent of incense fills the halls of the temple up into the keep. Prayers and hymns are sung throughout as time passes.
All the members of the Triadic Order have been recalled and are stationed at the Gates of the Triad.

In the aftermath of the attack on Shallybrook, Zero can be seen working around town. She helps with the repairs at the east gate as well as moving from home to home giving her assistance where needed. She helps to pile up the bodies of the lizardfolk so that they may be disposed of. Eight bodies of the Lizardfolk are pulled aside however and tagged, on for each of the factions present at the attack. She would inform the Sheriff that these bodies were to be picked up by; the Alizarin Academy, the Guardians, the Triadic Order, Clan Oghrann, the Wardens, the Ironsworn, the RCMH, and the Key'something. Each body is available for study by these factions, if the faction doesn't wish to study it, they can dispose of it however they see fit.
Additionally Zero can be seen handing out coins to those hin whose homes have seen damages for the purpose of repairs and or burials for lost loved ones.
A letter would be sent to each of the factions above indicating that, if they should choose to study the bodies they have exactly one day to pick them up before they are disposed of.

a rather drunk paladin would stand atop the table outside shallybrook's inn...
"If we know where this emerald queen resides, or where her forces reside, why do we stand still waiting for another assault?"
he draws his blade, it shines even at noon...
"we should hunt her down instead of waiting for the next attack! We should give her cause to flee, cause to run!"
"to let her regroup and rebuild is a sorry tactic, we need to tare her down, to rip them apart, to strangle her resources and potentials until she is bent into submission."
he waves his glooming sword caressly...
"do we wait for another battle? do we sit still until another invasion comes?"
"we know what she wants."
":let us destroy all whom supports her, all whom she holds as a friend. Until she is alone"
"Beware those around you whom she might have reached, whom she might have bought. Men are weak amongst the races, keep a close watch"
the drunk paladin continues on, in an intelligible speech about spies and false friends.

During a break in his duties, Henrik and a female Triadic squire arrived to study one of the lizardfolk bodies. He took note of personal possessions, sketched anatomy, cause of death and how the creature was dressed(paying particular attention to any distinguishing marks or symbols). Concluding his investigation, Henrik and the squire removed the body and disposed of it as appropriately as possible.
The healer and his companion returned to offer any practical assistance to the town and stayed until any requests were fulfilled before they returned to Eveningstar.

Morgaine claims the bodies of the spellcaster and lizard commander that she killed to take back to the Royal order of war wizards to investigate. She transports them to Thunderstone where they are put into the care of the war Wizards.
