Lately, a cowled woman can be seen in the sharran temple at the Enclave, her comings and goings passing unnoticed to the casual observer. The woman keeps mostly to herself, seeming at peace in the darkness of the shrine. The occasional words are exchanged between herself and the priestess, their disposition to each other hinting at some familiarity. When the sporadic devout appears to pray or to seek Zoha's guidance, the woman greets them with a silent nod and disappears from view in the back of the room.

During one of her visits, the Dark Follower is approached by a girl no more than thirteen. A pale girl in rags that seem to engulf her. Beneath her hood is a gaunt and bony face, hollow cheeks, and dark, fearful eyes.
"The Mo- Mother Night said yo- you could answer my pr..ayers. In.. in H- Her name." The girl chews on her lips nervously.
"What prayers, my child?” The cowled woman asks. “Death is Her gift to us, an end to want and pain. On the day that we are born our Dark Mother sends each of us a dark angel to walk through life beside us. When our sins and our sufferings grow too great to be borne, the angel takes us by the hand to lead us to her Embrace. She will be there for you one day, do not fear. You need not rush." Her voice is gentle.
The girl shakes her head forcefuly, lips pursed."Th- the na-names. I.. I spoke their names."
The woman's eyes flash with recognition. "We hear many such prayers in this place."
The girl nods eagerly and pulls a coin from her pouch and offers it up in a sweaty palm. "This silver coin-"
"- is of no use to me. You must pay your own way, and the cost is dear."
The girl bites her lips. “I don’t have any gold.”
"What you ask me cannot be bought with gold. The cost is all of you. Can you do that?” She cups the girl's cheek and gaze deep into her eyes, so deep it makes her shiver.
“No,” she says, “I do not think you can.”
The girl grasps the woman's hand forcibly. "I.. I c- can. Just ask me anything."
The assassin studies the girl for a moment. Finally, she says, "Then give me your name, child."

An ethereal presence watches the cowled woman come and go from the shrine occasionally, just passively observing and making some mental notes.
