*fliers start to appear all about the city of Arabel in the dark of night, some even left in the war refugee housing*
Citizens of Cormyr. Do you not see that the crown has failed you? You have been displaced by this undead foe, meanwhile the crown does nothing for you. The criers point fingers and sign petitions. What will they accomplish? Do the undead care for signatures?
You need strong leadership. A force that will stand up and strike fear into your enemies. A force that will destroy all who oppose it. Will you submit yourself to this force? Why not? Your crown has surely failed you.
You live in squalor, and you know sorrow. But we can show you the power of fear. Through service you will gain strength. So we give you this task.
You will offer a sum of no less than Ten Thousand Gold Lions to the service of Bane.
You have one week. Fail us and one of your precious towns will be destroyed. We will show you true fear! Or reward those who serve. The choice is yours.

An armored woman wearing the colors of the Purple Dragon Squires collects and destroys all of the fliers she can find, tucking one away into her pack. If the guards consented, she would also enlist their aid in doing the same. She would continue this for any further drops, particularly as she seems to be at least semi-nocturnal...

The woman dressed in black and crimson walks alongside a shorter, thinner built creature (elf-like), dressed in dark browns and blacks and covered in a deep hooded cloak. She pauses and looks over the poster and speaks aloud, though seemingly to herself.
"Ah, yes. A /wonderful/ example of what happens when you ban a religion. For the sake of the people, hopefully this will be a lesson to the blindly ignorant zealots that endanger the rest of the nation's citizens with their wanton proclamations."
Her and the figure continue on their way east.

* a rather tired imp pops out of greater sanctiary in the war torn woods. The imp drops the rest of his fliers making sure to set them ablaze. With a cackle a loud popping sound would be heard as he disappears.

A small group of men wearing armor adorning the symbols of the Triadic gods enter the gates of the city, walking in formation through Arabel tearing down at any fliers that they may come across, but keeping sample of roughly five of the fliers. The man at the helm of the group questions any business owners and residents mostly though he does speak to the occasional passerby.
He introduces himself with a small smile and a bow of his head. "Greetings. My name is Velisario Chrysosnomos of the Triadic Order of the Divine Resurrection." He'd then show one of the fliers salvaged. "Is there anything you can tell me about this?" He would thank those he questioned and leave them with well wishes.
The group continues their rounds while making their presence and faith noticeable among the populace. They patrol through the city quietly, nodding and only speaking in brief to those they come across.

Martin, gathered with the normal crowd in the bar, begins to laugh when someone hands him the flier. He howls with laughter, practically doubling over.
Eventually he climbs up and nods to Dale, then gets up on one of the bar stools "Look friends, wonderful news! The baneites are coming to save us!" he says before doubling over in laughter again.
After a bit he wipes his eyes and grins, looking over the faces of the people he's worked alongside the last few months "You know me, friends. You know what I've been doing for this city, how I'm throwing myself into bringing it back from the brink."
He waves the flier "Banites don't make barters like this. The only reason they are is because they know they can't take this place by force of arms. The only way evil like this can win is for us to go along with it."
His voice takes on a sharper edge 'And where were the baneites during the war? Where was the crown? The crown, thousands of men from the south, your countrymen, stormed these walls. Our great king fell in battle to slay the evil dragon. And these banites think the crown has abandoned us? Abandoned you?" He crumples up the flier.
"All I have left to say is, have another round on me. To the crown, and to cormyr, our home!" then he pauses and grins as he accepts a mug from Dale and raises it up "And to the baneites good health, because we certainly all could use the comedy they provided us today!"

A Dwarf clad in everbright armor and a mithril warhelm with a massive brown beard braided into a silver ring dropping from the beardcoif walks with the Triadics, speaking briefly to them once in awhile. He mostly occupies himself with surveying the defenses of Arabel, doing a walking tour of the walls and offering a curt nod to the guards with an occasional "Keep yer steel sharp lads, and yer bowstrings waxed."

*A blonde haired Tempurran warrioress travels the land teaching all who will learn to fight. She teaches them to use anything on hand as a weapon, from axes to gardening hoes, and how to use the advantage of numbers against superior foes both physical and magical.*
A statement she repeats often: "If they intend to slay noncombatants, then there shall be no such thing!"

//are the fliers hand written? Copied by printing press? Copied by magical means? Either way, lets get all our bases covered. Still need an answer on whether there was anything seen by the local residents by where the fliers were put up. No new information makes a stalemate.
::Velisario brings #1 of 5 salvaged fliers to a parchment/paper/flier supplier and asks what could be known about the origin of the paper and where this particular paper type is usually used::
::Velisario brings #2 of 5 salvaged fliers to the war wizard building in Suzail's core, and asks what could be done to uncover the identity behind the mastermind behind this plot::
::Velisario looks up various printing press operations around Cormyr and brings along with him flier #3 of 5 salvaged fliers, asking if they had seen someone who may have been making prints of similar make.::
::this has taken place in the course of days since the extortionist threats were made. PM me if any of those attempts prove fruitful.

A man in dark plated armor is seen walking the streets of Arabel, he lingers near guard stations briefly, and even offers a poor citizen a gold coin before leaving through the caravan.

In places where the original posters had been, the occasional new poster appears. They appear to have been hand-made by a stencil and black paint. A red fist is also painted at the top of the poster with the words "Resist" stenciled and painted below it
To those servants of Bane who offer a promise of hope and change in one hand, but also subjects us to their tyranny and demand tribute with the other, we of the people, declare the following:
We name you for cowards. We have nothing to fear from people who employ extortion and terror to earn favor. True strength does not come from bullying the commons, while promising harm will come to their farmers and civilians. We also name your dark god as weak - his agents do not inspire fear, yet act in it as they strike from shadows and run from the law.
We also name you as ignorant. The current shortcomings of the Crown do not speak of the long history of favor it has shown to its people. Cormyrian's are proud of their nation, and believe they have the best way of governing. The fact you chose Arabel as your venue of choice for your rebellious proclamations demonstrates the height of your ignorant folly.
We name you as powerless, for this can be only reason you keep the destination of your attack a surprise - you know if the Crown does not squash you pathetic attack, we would have.
We offer you one warning. If you bring suffering to the people, we will visit the same upon you. The law will not protect you, the shadows will not conceal you, and your pathetic god will not save you.
Consider yourselves appropriately warned.

During the night the people of Arabel say they hear heavy footsteps near these new posters hanging.
Those who read upon these new posters receive a brief image of a city in flames; with a man clad in green armor. He gazes upon the reader clenching his right fist, with eyes glowing a freightening green.
Then the image fades.

*Aris's would be seen walking by one of the new posters. He would laugh and write on the bottom. "If you truly seek to harm all you do is look. For i will not hide behind shadows any longer. Do come looking i beg this of you weak cowards." *He would nod and walk away*

Kross walks into arabel. He stands before one of the posters removing his hood. He look around at all of the citizens milling about.
"Then you leave me no choice" he proclaims. The dark priest turns about eyeing those near.
If you wish to turn away from power, then doom will befall you all. There is still a chance, but these people for freedom have forced me to teach you the hard way. Prepare yourselves! The doom of Bane approaches!
*the priest enters greater sanctuary and flees the scene." Echoes of "remember me" can be heard down the street.
*kross has now made a public display. He hides no more."
