This is a chart I found online from early AD&D rules about the various relations between player character races. It was interesting, so I thought I'd put it up. Now, this is pretty old, and isn't specifically for FR, but to my knowledge it hasn't been changed since it was created. If you're wondering what's the normal reaction of a gnome to a hin, just cross reference. Obviously player characters are all different, but now you know what's normal and what's going against racial type. I thought of this after being taken to task for my elf's obvious dislike of a half orc. Elves disliking half orcs isn't strange, it's normal and shouldn't need to be justified. If my elf actually didn't have a problem with half orcs, I would feel like that would need justification from his background or in game history or roleplay. If you're a gnome who doesn't like hin, I would expect there to be some justification for it, but I wouldn't expect it for a gnome who likes most hin, since that is the norm. Another example not race related: If you're left handed in game, most people feel like they need to point that out, since the assumption is that you're right handed. If anyone wants to have a discussion or argument about this, I'd suggest opening a thread under Roleplaying Suggestions, since the purpose of this is mainly as a reference.
