Since my character kross is lvl 21 now im probably going to start playing a new character.
My question is this, I plan to make my new character related to Kross. He of course may ask as of his whereabouts but they wont gain any info from eachother.
Is this acceptable?

If they never actually cross paths and don't share information between them, it's fine to play a relative of your existing PC.

And to clarify, in addition to information, no passing of objects between them either, and you should be in the clear.
A situation you could accidentally stumble into, if they both end up having the same friend and that friend passes it along even with well meaning intentions. Not saying this would happen or that you would do this. Just covering logistics.

An example (completely random and off the top of my head). Your first character has a nice cloak that they have out grown, so they bequeath it to a friend. That friend then bequeaths it to your second character down the line. You want to avoid this sort of innocent situation. Just be aware of it. This would go for anyone with alt characters. Not just related family. But I can see it happening a little bit more easily with alt characters with a known family connection. "Oh your cousin gave me this cloak, perhaps it would be better served in your care." That would be down a slippery slope of item exchange. Well my character kross if you read the life and times, believes his brother dead.
My new toon is in fact his brother whose sole purpose is to hunt kross down and kill him. Of course it wont happen because they cant meet, but maybe after they hear about eachother through other people, will create a nice bit of rp i can play out.
