**Posted throughout Cormyr and the Western Reaches, and messengers deliver sealed copies to the gates of Suzail, Redmist, Isinhold, and the Enclave by courier. One in particular is reported to be nailed to the board in the Redmist Temple, purportedly by the same figure in white and gold that left flowers there**
Long has the Church of the Morninglord remained silent on a number of issues that face Kingdom of Cormyr, the surrounding lands, and the church itself. Long have we chosen to keep our opinions unknown, choosing to act as individuals rather than as a whole. In the fullness of time, however, it has been revealed to the church that that is a path we can no longer take.
We are resolved that the Kingdom of Cormyr holds our loyalty and our service. We stand with swords ready to assist the Steel Regent in defending Cormyr from all enemies, both external and internal. We remind the Regent that even in the darkest hours, hope remains. The battle is not to the strong alone; it is to the vigilant, the active, the brave. There is a just god who presides over the destinies of nations, and who will raise up friends to fight by our sides. We are resolved to assist the people of Cormyr, to protect and aid them in their time of need. The Church of the Morninglord will stand beside Cormyr, ever helping, ever protecting, and always shining the light of truth and hope regardless of the darkness that surrounds.
We are resolved that the village of Isinhold holds our friendship and aid. We stand with swords ready to assist Lady Sharita Gallen against any enemies that may threaten the safety and prosperity of Isinhold. We offer you our solidarity in times of need, bringing our strength of arms and the power of the Morninglord to bear in your defense. To the people of Isinhold, we offer our protection and healing, pledging to aid and assist them whenever possible.
We are resolved that the City of Redmist has fallen into darkness. Though we hold out hope for its salvation, the Church of the Morninglord cannot ignore the grave evil perpetuated upon the temple and its priests. We call upon the lords of Redmist to release the priests of the temple who have been missing since the revolt tore Redmist from her liege lords. We call upon the lords of Redmist to make reparations for the desecration of the holy place of the Morninglord, and to return the temple to its rightful Lord, Lathander. Until such actions have been taken, the Church of the Morninglord can only see the government of Redmist as enmical to the church itself.
We call upon the people of Redmist to open their eyes and truly see what has happened to their beloved city. We call upon them to see the beggars who continue to walk their streets, those punished most cruelly in the very city streets, chained to stocks and pillories, left to the wind and rain, and the vagaries of passers by. We call upon the people of Redmist to open their eyes to the torture and executions taking place almost daily. We ask the people of Redmist how a good and just society can support such evils? We are resolved, however, to aid and assist the people of Redmist whenever possible, remembering the the love that the Morninglord still bears for them.
We are resolved that necromancy is evil and anethema to the Morninglord and his church. We are resolved that those who practice this evil art are tainted by its evil, an evil that abuses their conscience and their very souls. We are resolved to oppose necromancers wherever we may find them, and to protect the innocent, whether living or dead, from their predations. The Church of the Morninglord pledges to stand with swords ready to push back the darkness necromancy and its practitioners bring. We stand with the strength and wisdom of the Morninglord to guide us. Even so, we stand with one arm outstretched, calling into the darkness for those who are lost to return to the light, remembering the love the Morninglord still holds for even those who follow this vile path.
We are resolved that the Western Accord cannot and will not prevent the Church of the Morninglord from acting in accordance with our Lord's will. The Church of the Morninglord respects and admires the rule of law and justice. But when the law and justice conflict, we are resolved that justice and the will of the Morninglord are our first love and duty. We are resolved to uphold the law to the best of our ability until such time as it conflicts with the words of the Morninglord. We are resolved to oppose evil where we find it, to bring light to the darkness that surrounds these lands and these people.
We call upon all good people of these lands to join with us in this effort to fight back against the darkness that creeps in even now. We will not go silently into the night, allowing evil to rule and warp the hearts and minds of the innocent. We pledge our lives, our fortunes, and our honor to oppose the forces of darkness that threaten all good people.
We remain in everlasting service of the Dawn of Hope,
The Servants of Lathander
God of the Dawn

**Below that is a listing of names of thsoe who made up the Council, including Fergus Strongheart, Tremain Dawnseeker, and Liadan Amaethal, as well as a listing of most priests of the Morninglord in the Kingdom of Cormyr and various laypeople (those not priests or paladins, but dedicated followers of the Morninglord) from throughout Cormyr and the Western Reaches**
((OOC: Modification was to clarify who signed the document and what each document contains so far as information on who signed it. The original document is housed in the House of the Morninglord in Marsember, and has the original signatures of all those present at its drafting. The documents posted throughout Cormyr simply have a listing of names, as the sheer volume of documents would prevent having signatures on each.))
