Post by Royal Corps of Monster Hunters on Apr 19, 2011 10:25:18 GMT -5
*posted in inns, taverns and government buildings all over Cormyr*
Citizens and Adventurers of Cormyr:
This is a public service announcement from the Royal Corps of Monster Hunters in regards to the recent terrorist attacks on several of our own.
We consider these individuals to be domestic threats to all in Cormyr.
There are four confirmed terrorists (religion rumored but uncertain):
Ronso - A Bedine man, capable of magic and usually dresses in dark red armor. Recently executed and buried, his grave was dug up.
Revan - Dark skinned elf, dresses in purple. Known to travel with Ronso.
Hooded woman, elven build - Goes by Mistress Caffyn (unverified by charter). Travels with a skeletal ettin.
Than (also known as Cordal) - changes armor regularly, affects accents
These four should be treated with caution and the nearest Purple Dragon informed as soon as possible.
Other unverified (yet still rumored) domestic threats include:
Allyson - long hair, dresses in black
Thraden - Son of Ranan Hallomein, potentially unbalanced
Moth - Red-haired elven woman. Uses scythe.
Khamul - Unknown
The unverified names can (and should) seek out a representative of the Royal Corps in town to try and clear their name.
Information may be sent to the Royal Corps of Monster Hunters in Thunderstone, c/o Weston Brows, Unit Herald.

*a pair of eyes cross the notice and ripp it off the tavern wall, looking over again more closely, then it is held to a candle and set flame before getting dumped into a tankard of a nearby tavern patron and a figure leaves the tavern.*

Obviously, periodically the torn and worn posters are replaced.

A hooded female of slender build reads the notice, her face grim. "I told those arrogant fools not to let that witness go," she spat. "They compromised all of us. Now I must report this to the high priestess...if she hasn't found out already." One part of the notice makes a small smile of consolation cross her lips, however. "As for you, 'Cordal', it is nice to finally know your true name. That's one less secret about you I have to figure out."

She has to track down someone who can decipher common for her after she sees her name plastered up for all to see,. After she gives a slight little shake of her head. Rocking back and forth on her heels, she stares at it for a while, then shrugs. Those nearby can hear her muttering;
"Skimpy clothing? Hmmm, suppose. If everyone doesn't know who I am, well... there's issues. Wonder what the heck I did this time."
She can be seen sitting out in the Marketplace Square then, waiting for a RCMH member to show up.

Garum Glandash reads the postings.
"The entire Royal Corps can't keep that bastard Ronso in the ground, but I can drag him into custody? This organization's turned into a joke."
He writes a post nearby, and pins it to the wall with shurikens.
You will have your 'terrorists.'

//Mmkay, I feel it prudent to be a bit of an OOC diplomate here so that certain grounds can be understood and OOC consideration given to "team evil", so that no one feels overwhelmed here. This is being done due to certain OOC word-of-mouth details that's fallen on my plate of late. 1.) The RCMH isn't advocating for a world wide head hunt. Read the post carefully. If it isn't clear enough, dont read it while: tired, or intoxicated. ;D 2.) The RCMH themselves isn't readily hunting anyone. Infact unless we're at the scene of the crime itself, then our Guild can't do a whole lot. We have very rigid restrictions on our back, with some of the penalties including banning if we mess up with the "authority" aspect. 3.) And as the notice points out, should civilians have detail, the RCMH is more than happy to take what a PC has, and we analyze the data from then on through a process I can't openly comment on Cheers and enjoy - I and many others do like the intringue building up so far, so again, this post is to merely help keep things smooth and understanding.

~Looking at the posters and seeing her name still on them, a little Elven woman starts to tremble, just a little. She just.. stares at the nearest poster for a long, long while.~
~But when she watches the new ones go up, the soldier or messenger doing it gets the biggest hug EVER, even if she gets smacked for it~

New posters are put up to reflect changes.
//Simply human, you have to forgive the need to sleep. Sidenote - Please keep as much OOC out of this as possible. Thanks.//

In the early morning hours, the old posters are taken down and new ones put up to take their place.
