A shock hits the populace of Suzail as news reaches the peasants that some of the people who had been fed by the House of Healing in the past few days have died. Nobody knows what exactly happened but eyewitnesses claim that they saw people start to choke and fall unconscious to never awake again, others simply started to shakes wildly and foam appearing in front of their mouth before dying with a horrible gurgling sound minutes or hours later. All in all the victims of this incident died a long and horrible painful death with a lot of suffering.
Serves them lazy buggers right, should work for their food like honest people. *a rather obese looking merchant is heard saying aloud while observing the guards shutting down the House of Healing for investigation and carrying off corpses that are given their last rite by a Ilmateri priest who had been called to the site*
I told ya´ll, somethings fishy over thar. *a beggar with several missing teeth is murmuring to himself as he quickly snatches some belongings from some corpses before being carried off and a woman faints nearby at the sight of death*
Horrible, just horrible, how could this happen? *a man clearly in shock and close to tears rabbles on as he holds a holy symbol of Ilmater in his hand and watches how the cooks are led off in chains by the city guards, some children pelting them with dirt, mocking and cursing them*
People within the city soon start to tread cautiously around the House of Healing or ward themselves against evil or bad luck while passing by. Some seek out independent healers and apothecaries who quietly rejoice at the increased income, giving off prayers to Tymora or Waukeen for their fortune and luck. Someones demise are some others joy.
