Rules of the Grand Revel Rule #1 No arguments or hostility of any kind is permitted within the Temple at any time. Instigators will be asked to leave. If the victim is hostile in return, they will be asked to leave as well. If there is an issue, bring it to the attention of the hosts, rather than dealing with the situation yourself. Negative emotions and actions are seen as disrespect to Lady Firehair and will not be permitted at any time. Rule #2 Wanted criminals and murders are not permitted to attend the Grand Revels, unless the temple hosts say otherwise. The reason for wanted criminals not being allowed within the temple should go without saying. Known murders, even if they have paid for their crime are not allowed within the temple during the Grand Revel in order to insure that guests do not feel in danger or uncomfortable. Rule #3 No attending Grand Revels while wearing armor. Armor does not fit in the scene of a social event such as a Grand Revel. Those who attend the Grand Revel should not see, hear, or speak of hostility or battle. Those who attend Grand Revels come to enjoy themselves without being stressed. On top of that, armor tends to be loud and distracting. Rule #4 No attending Grand Revels while wearing hoods or helmets. If you are attending a Grand Revel there should be no reason for you to have to conceal your face, or cover yourself. Even if the hood or helmet does not cover your face, we still ask that they are not worn. Rule #5 No food or drinks outside the lobby. Food and drinks are not permitted anywhere outside the entrance room. We at the temple take cleanliness very seriously. In respect to our goddess we ask that the temple be kept clean, especially in the prayer room or rooms with shrines made in Lady Firehair's honor. Food and drinks should not be taken anywhere in the prayer room or backroom. Rule #6 Animals, unless belonging to the church, are not permitted at the Grand Revels. Exceptions maybe made for common household domesticated animals. At times animals living within the church or belong to it, will attend the revels, although this is not too common. Just because you see the church’s animals at a Grand Revel, does not mean that we wish for other animals to be present. Rule #7 Please maintain your personal appearance. As mentioned before, here at the temple we take great pride in our cleanliness and hygiene and we expect no less from those who attend our Grand Revels. Guests are expected to maintain a proper appearance and decent hygiene. Those with excessive issues regarding hygiene or their appearance may be asked to leave. Rule #8 Laws of Suzail still take place within the temple. This is common sense; there is not much to say here. Those who break these rules will be asked to leave the festivities. These rules will ultimately be enforced by the hosts of the Grand Revel, although others may be asked to do so in place of the hosts. Excessive requests for removal from Grand Revels may result in a permanent removal from all Grand Revels. Priestess Miranda may over rule any and all decisions made by any clergy member. Any complaints may be taken to head Priestess Miranda. |
