A silver-haired elven woman arrives at the ancient circle of monoliths, as she has does every three days for several weeks. Silently she moves to the centre of the shrine, kneels as she lays her bow lightly upon the mossy ground and bows her head.
For an hour, she does not move. Her words (always spoken in Elvish) in that period range from barely-audible whispers to shouts of anger - all seemingly with no response - and interspersed with uncounted tears.
Finally, she stands, though her head remains bowed. Taking up her bow, she moves to the edge of the clearing and slumps against a tree trunk, slowly sliding to the ground at its base.
For two days, she remains in the clearing; eating and drinking only sparingly. Every few hours, she returns to the centre of the stone circle and again speaks as she did upon her arrival.

I put this in a thread separate to lakhena's because of the time of her character's story and because it's apparently a different grove.
