Ginna smiles softly as the woman departs the table at the Regal Griffon Inn, thinking about what was just said. She picks up her belongings and walks over to Kale, asking for a key to one of the rooms upstairs.
She enters the room and sits at the small writing desk, pulling out several pieces of parchment with quill and ink, and begins to write on one of the sheets in a slightly staggered calligraphy that could use more practice.
Dear Fearless Leader of the Mushroom:
I bring good news from Vala, in the possible trip into the underground spoken of several days ago. There is plans to wander next week, and I need to discuss the arrangements with you and locate the others...
She continues to writes, and makes similar copies of the letters -- four in all. She smiles as she folds and seals them, before retiring to the comfort of the bed.

Ginna stands in front of the Greatgaunt inn, watching a woman walk off, as she smiles more.
After talking to Vala the other day, she ticks off her fingers as she starts to mutter names and counting the possible group.
"Six so far confirmed... One possible... and I still need to find a cute hin woman...."
She grins and folds her arms as she looks around the square of the adventuring town.

After the adventures, a tale is spoken of in the inn of Greatgaunt, overheard by many. Julius calls everyone’s attention.
“Aye.... listen to this, ladies and gents. Excuse me, just one gent....”, he says as he notices just one man near the table. He sets the mug down on the table, lifting both hands to gesture along with his speech.
“So we've run upon these gates, see? 'Tis in the midst of this dark, dismal cavern split down the middle by a ravine.”
Ginna pipes in, “In the underdark.”
And Julius continues, “We'd soon found the source of that heat, hm? I look up to see these monstrous, flaming giants barreling down towards our front ranks! The gates fly wide open!” He gestures wide with his hands as he tells the story. “Down comes that flaming axe... nasty thing! Blew right through Ginna's shield... that adamantine work. I'd seen the danger 'ere it had descended upon us, so I'd the sense to call for the retreat.”
“Leaving me on the ground in a heap, no less..” Ginna adds to Julius' recounting.
“We are even, then, for you've done the same to myself... leaving me under the feet of that nasty gnoll leader.” Julius counters.
“True.” Ginna smirks as she recalls, before poking Julius. “Get on with the story...”
“I'd scooped up our resident hin castress and made my way toward higher ground... After a head count we'd all but two others... Ginna and our other frontlinesman... err, frontlineswoman.”
“Vala.” Ginna nods.
Julius continues. “So. With all haste we proceeded back, albeit cautiously! We'd immediately the idea to trap the entire ledge upon which one must tread to reach the fortress of those nasty giants. So with all due haste our two trappers got to work whilst I watched the gates... unfortunately our little castress must've heard the call for she ventured in all by her lonesome in a foolhardy rescue attempt.”
Ginna speaks up. “Little did Julius and the others know... That Vala and I woke up bound and de-armed by the Fire Giant. The Fire Giant was watching the gates, waiting for the others to try to come through. I tried to get its attention, asking what it wanted.
Julius quips, “Nay. We'd no clue... for we'd thought those giants had something nastier in mind for our two damsels in distress.”
Ginna recounts further, “It said it wanted me and Vala to call out to the others, because it was hungry and two of us wasn't going to satiate it. Well, Vala and I weren't going to do that... and I had just remembered, I had traveled to Dhedluk and offered it four fried bobbries instead. It didn't want just bobbries, so we offered up a gem and three thousand coins as homage for our release.”
Someone mutters, “What a dumb giant...”
“We had just struck the deal, agreeing to leave the area immediately.. when suddenly Vala vanished into thin air.” Ginna grins at the utterance. “I seem to have a way with words, perhaps? So... The giant was upset, thinking we had lied or were going to reneg on the deal.. then Miri got too close, the giant saw her and slaughtered her.”
Julius adds, “This happened beyond my line of sight... I'd simply thought she still watched near the gate. I'd no clue she had wandered in!”
“Well, a hin woman was -not- going to satiate his appetite either... so we still were able to get her carried out along with our belongings. Left the giant his 'tribute' of meal, gem and coins... and had to forestall Malus from coming in after Miri.” Ginna pokes Julius to continue his story.
“Ginna and the others emerged to find the entire ridge rigged to explode.” He remarks with an excited gleam in his eye, as this time it is Julius' turn to give a devilish grin as he picks up where she left off.
The man asks concerned, “You didn't set them all off, did you?”
“We'd not set them off... that is until those bastards gave chase. Not thirty feet from the gate's entrance the entire cavern began to rumble... 'twas as if all Nine Hells'd broken loose! The lot of us look back, spotting the giants quickly coming to reclaim what, apparently what they thought, was rightfully theirs. Little did they know that we'd an army of traps awaiting them.” Julius says with a chuckle, lifting his mug to his lips for a prolonged sip.
“The ensuing clicks and booms nearly matched the rumbling thunder of giant feet... the entire cliff almost collapsed. Thus our single fire giant kill of the trip... one lacked more wits than the other, apparently, and thought it smart to close in on us for we were but a short distance away. He quickly became a pincushion in conjunction with a trapspringer and quickly collapsed.” He offers them a toothy grin as he finishes his sentence. “We left 'ere the entire fortress had the time to assemble against us.”
“And made our way to High Horn mines.” Ginna explains.
“All in all, quite a successful trip into the deep unknown of the Underdark wouldn't you say my dear?” Julius glances up at Ginna, offering her a wink.
“At least all seven of us returned, more or less unscathed...” Ginna looks to Julius and grins, nodding. “Yes, my dear.” And she winks back.
Another mutters to someone close by, “They are brave the way they talk about going into the underdark...”

[Scene: A nondescript inn room]
The following morning a man slowly opens his eyes before propping himself up to a sitting position. He raises a hand to his head, running it through his extremely tousled, blond-brown locks. He looks around in a daze, his mind a jumble as he attempts to recollect the events of the night before. He lets his feet down on the cold wooden floorboards at the foot of the bed, a toothy grin making its way onto his face as his hazy thoughts begin to clear.
"Ahh yes... we'd company and drink. And tales of the deep. Aye, for what is a daring, dangerous trip if 'tis not told properly to others?"
His gaze slowly drifts to the nightstand near the head of the bedpost, his toothy grin going wide at the sight of the pouch sitting atop its surface.
"And what is a trip to the deep without its profits, hm? Hurry, Ginna, and prepare another trip for we've much to do ahead of us... I shant simply stop with this one adventure!"
He blinks, realizing that the only one listening to his monologue is himself. He chuckles quietly to himself, pulling close the boots sitting near the nightstand to don them. His gaze stares distantly at the shiny, silver bells adorning his flamboyant footwear as he pulls it tight over his heel and up to his knee.
After similarly pulling the other one on, he rises to whip his many-starred cloak about his shoulders. After adjusting the cowl so that it sits close to his jawline, he grabs the hat hanging on the bedpost. The hat is quickly pulled down to an angle atop his head, covering his eyes to those looking at him from his right side, after he throws open the door to his room.
He can be seen, or rather heard, striding out of the Laughing Lass into the streets of Suzail with a rhythmic jingle to his pace.
