{{ This thread is open to those who were present for this morning's rp, as well as others who may naturally be there... A DM response is welcome, if any want to indulge us. }}
As the rays of the sun broke through the canopy of the Kings’ Forest, forming small moving pools of golden light on the forest floor, the dark-haired elven maiden raised her arms. This morning, she had shed her usual raiment and garbed herself in the pale sky-blue, diaphanous robes normally reserved for holy days and sacred ceremonies. This morning, the breeze that stirred the blossoms emerging upon the trees was fresh, warm, and light, a welcome change from the cold, wintery wind that typically gusted down from the Stormhorns.
This morning was a new beginning for the pale elf maiden, in so many ways.
The rays of the morning sun bathed Oenemi in a gentle light. Her voice was soft, resonant with the passion of someone who would not be deterred. “Winged Mother, who brings forth the winds of change, I give myself to you once more. Here, in this place, with your and the blessings of the Seldarine, where once the betrayers found haven, I and our People shall cleanse and purify this ground… and in its place, we will consecrate a place for you, the Lifegiver and Protector, and the rest of the Seldarine. Upon the cliffs here, I shall carve a place for an aerie, an offering in forgiveness for my transgression past. Hear my prayer, blessed Aerdrie, that we may offer our People a fresh breath of hope against the gathering storm…”
Oenemi closed her eyes, allowing the misty spray of the waterfall, caught by the gentle spring breeze to fall lightly over her. Her lips curved up into smile, an expression of tranquility and hope upon the maiden's face.

"It must be a trait which causes elven maidens to select the life of the clergy," he decided. "Once they get an idea in their head, there is no one they'll hear and no opinion they'll consider that isn't precisely in alignment with their 'vision'." A small smile spread across his lips.
No matter. The site was accessable and the end result, at least part of it -- the part most likely to survive these intial plans -- met his desires. The headstrong young priestess will learn the value of seeking and listening to counsel someday but most certainly not today and most likely not through words.
Now to figure out who needs to approve what to make this happen with as little alarm as possible. Human concepts of ownership are strange.

On her way to Suzail from the Grove, Kali hears a voice coming from the direction of the abandoned temple. Since she has made a habit of checking there for any activity, she is pleasantly surprised to see Oenemi in prayer. She watches for awhile, not wanting to interrupt.

*Duk notes the new arrivals at his place after getting out of bed, passing the defaced altar of the drow pantheon in his room, exiting the temple and finding not only apparently masses of footsteps where he had wanted to build something that wasn't just another mini-Hullack, but also an elf praying...on his lawn.* OOC: No, we can't ask if other people ever had interest/RP there, we just proclaim it is so. You already have a whole forest...isn't that ENOUGH?!? ^I'm simply going to leave this because I typed the first thing that came to mind when I read this thread. I simmer down as quick as I flip, but I'm not going to be dishonest and delete it, so I'll leave it there in the hope that it's understood as what it is: A first, fleeting and possibly not entirely fair angry thought. It happens sometimes, sorry about that. Lakhena's an excellent RPer and couldn't know there are others about, upon rereading, yeah, I have to say: Thanks for giving us at least a chance

I do not want to see any more OOC comments of this nature on a roleplay thread. If you want to complain about something, take it the relevant forum, a PA or a DM. Thank you.

*an elf in a blue cloak and hood, with silver fullplate wanders up and looks around, she speaks softly in elven* "Corellon if you will it guide us towards making a temple for the Seldarine, and to help remove the darkness that grows between elves that don't even know the Seldarine or the bond that binds us all. " *she gazes around praying for a moment for the people and the place*

*an archer in a teal turban hauls a few things out of the abandoned temple, including camping gear and a simple but adequate alchemist's apparatus. he packs away what he can carry and burns the rest in a well-tended fire not far from the entrance to the site, before disappearing in a gust of wind and reappearing in Suzail.*
"honestly... if they can keep the riff-raff out, i'll be glad to leave it to them. if they're getting the approval of the Crown, i suspect i couldn't have said no if i had wanted to."

Yet another elf can be seen visiting in the vicinity and keeping watch over the potential temple.

A white-robed elven maiden pauses by the waterfall, her pale, bared arms carrying a covered basket full of freshly picked wildberries and a bouquet of wildflowers. Lightly, she touches the stark white feather in her ebony-colored hair, followed by a quiet murmur that is drowned by the roar of the waterfall. Her silvery-blue eyes shift to a point behind the waterfall, as if considering something there.

{{ We've been doing this for months in game and via another plot, but just wanted to bump this thread for the new people getting involved in the project... again, any interested parties are welcome to respond.}}
Quietly, the pale moon elf slipped into the abandoned temple, another batch of wildflowers in her hand. This time, she lingered in each of the rooms, her fingers tracing the contours of the stone reliefs upon the walls. In their place, she imagined fairer depictions, scenes and stories told of the Seldarine, tales she had listened to with fascination since her youth.
She sigh as the shadows in the old temple lengthened and strew her flowers near the broken altar. The scent of death from when they had kept Cassius there had lingered. There was still a great amount of work left to be done...
