A mood of cautious excitement and grim resolve spreads among the people of Arabel throughout the recent days. Word has passed through them that a large black figure has been circling Castle Crag.
Common gossip says the figure has been landing on and off there for some time now. The Castle has also been seen releasing light orcish patrols into the land.
The Dragoneers of Arabel heighten their numbers in the city. Scouts have been seen leaving the walls in all directions of the city. The tidings of war are felt.

Word around Arabel spreads quickly of many common folk leaving the city periodically heading to Immersea, and some as far as Suzail. As the commoners leave, Purple Dragon reinforcements subtly flow in.
There are more reports of orcish scouts seen North of the city as the days roll on.

In the Hullack, a silent female elf - almost invisible in the green of the forest - watches as an increase of travellers brave the western woods to travel the road to Thunderstone....clusters of every race of travellers carrying their whole lives on their backs.
She keeps a wary eye behind them, making sure the thickets and clearings she knows so well are not bristling with hostile orcs waiting to attack. Her arrow rests, waiting.
When there is a break in travellers she vanishes - but other elves take her place, unresting and vigilant.

Many refugees from Arabel are tucked safely in the Hullack Forest by the Last Flagon Inn. The mood there is thankful, but somber for the tidings of war still rest on their home's doorstep.
//Event planed for Saturday. No time specified but it will be after 11:00 AM US Eastern time.

Word quickly spreads of the army's defeat at Castle Crag. Refugees filter back into Arabel. Much construction has to be done before Castle Crag is restored to its glory, but the Cormyrean's are hopeful and happy that the threat is finally over.
