The sun glistened off the morning dew, as dawn once again came to the sleepy little town of Isinhold. Kale was up early, getting the inn ready for the day, Sam was in the garden behind the inn, gathering what herbs and vegetables he would need for the inn's fare that day. Waric was eyeing the door to the inn once more, as usual, attempting to remember what it was he was doing. Merriss was preparing the temple for another day, humming to himself as he tended the plants around the temple. The children were off to do thier morning chores, (as all children in small farm towns did first thing in the morning), gathering firewood, feeding the cows, slopping the pigs, fetching water, while mothers served up hearty breakfasts for thier families.
Various adventurers wandered in and out of town, as usual, some looking fine in thier finest clothes or armors, others looking like "the bear won", but the morning warmed and turned to afternoon, and it seemed another ordinary day for Isinhold.
And on this day, a travelling druidess, dressed in the plain brown robes and hood commonly associated with druids and those who work in the woods, comes into town, with a handful of freshly picked wild flowers. She goes about, offering flowers to any who wish them, or would wish to give to a special someone. She also has other goodies for the children, rare chocolates from Amn, which, the children, have not ever had the rare pleasure. The chocolates disappear within minutes, once the oldest bravest lad, Dirk, tried one and let the others instantly know it was "-even better- than hot chocolate!"
Waric stirred long enough from his thoughts, and thought to himself "Valina would love a few of those", and gladly accepted a handful. Other villagers, looking to add that special touch to thier homes, also gladly accepted the flowers.
And once the flowers were gone, the druidess returned to the woods....
