This is a personal thread to recognize the numerous events that occur in Sune's name, formally known as Sunite Revels. I believe it was thought up by two or three people with a small ambition that eventually lead to a big event on FRC with the outcome normally being high and enjoyable to those there. I know that there was plenty of roleplay afterward too: having heard many people talk about it and such I hope that events like these continue on and continue to provide roleplay opportunities for both old and new players Good job to those who made it possible and thumbs up to the ones who participate and roleplay during the event

Since this is the same topic I'd like to thank everyone who came to the Sunite revel today. I had a great time and it was a great social event. Also the Team Hin Vs Team Kiki dart game was a lot of fun as well. ;D I personally had a blast and I hope everyone else did too. Also I'd like to thank DM Urghargh for setting up for us and making an appearance during the revel. As well as DM Valkyrie for setting up after the crash. Thank you both for taking the time to do that.

'Foxy' really loves the Sunite revels, especially the ones with beauty contests. They really stroke her ego.
I always have a lot of fun at the revels I've attended with her. Only got to show-up for part of the one yesterday because of pre-existing plans but the part I was there for was fun.

Credit goes to Zoriya Afsanah (Avi Eupator) for coming up with the very first ones. And thank you to Carbuncle and Mechamistress for carrying on the tradition. (Kiki and Vivian) I've enjoyed these events (and do enjoy setting them up) Keep up the good work

Credit goes to Zoriya Afsanah (Avi Eupator) for coming up with the very first ones. I think Zoriya continued the revels from the idea of that one Sunite with the reddish skin that planned the Midsummer Night festival. I never can remember her name because she's around so rarely but she's played by Esmehubertus.

Actually, I carried over the idea for revels from a previous server I'd started the them occuring on. I talked with Ursla IC prior about having a revel since she'd been the second sunite I'd met and thought it'd be cool to start it up here.. then I got into some things with Aria and was working more, and Ursa dropped out of sight a bit... when she came back she did the midsummer night. I got the idea when I read the information on Sune in Faiths and Pantheon, where it mentioned them and Festivals of Love. Seemed like an IC thing to have the church of Sune do at the time since my PC had just shelled out her life savings to build a temple on that server. . Who knows, maybe someday I'll get to have Zoriya dabble her hands in another one here. Really miss doing them, and I was very sad I couldn't see the last one I set up (the one on May 3rd).

Oh, you mean Ursa Elampithus? Her player is actually mproud.
He's usually too busy playing WoW, or some other game, to come on the server these days. And even when he does come on he usually plays a different character.
As far as I've noticed anyways.
I have a Sunite character, and I haven't been to one of these revels yet. Sad days.

Oh, you mean Ursa Elampithus? Her player is actually mproud. Ah yeah, that's the one I mean. I was thinking it was esmehuburtus but maybe that's just because that log-in name is similar to the character name.

Want to say thanks to the players of Kiki and Vivian for organizing and running the last revel. Unfortunately I was feeling bad and missed it, but I heard it went great.

I didn't attend for IC reasons, but hats off to revelry! The more festivals, the merrier!
(Is Avi / Zoriya still around? If so, zomg, small world! I might have a Sharessan to torture you!)

Thanks to everyone who attend the Grand Revel today, things started off a little slow but I actually think this turned out to be one of my favorite revels. The RP was a lot of fun, and my character got the opportunity to meet a lot of people. HUGE thank you to DMs Hawk, Valkerie, and UrghArgh for the set up and everything at the temple. You all did a lot more than I asked for, and I am really grateful for it all. The flower petal entrance/dance floor was an excellent touch to the whole thing. Also thank you to DMs Thann and Muse for the shouts about the Grand Revel. Overall, I enjoyed the event and I hope that everyone else did too.

I wanted to extend the thanks to everyone who came to the Grand Revel yesterday, and especially the people who stayed around while things were slow and still picking up.
Thanks to the player Aquatic for continuing to plan the revels. I was glad to be able to come back to attend the event, as I find very little time to play anymore.
A big thanks goes to the DM's too for setting up and making the announcements for us. I always like seeing how the temple can be transformed. The flowers were really nice.
Thank you FRC. : ]

Thanks to everyone who showed up at the revel, I really enjoyed myself and I hope that you all did too. Also a huge thank you to DMs Valkerie and Hawk, you both are awesome, especially for getting up as early as you both did to put up with me and set up everything. You both have been great with your constant help during Grand Revels.

Well done all involved.
