*Insert Rant On Necromancy Not Being Evil Here* Eh, if it weren't for people like Aria to focus their anger on, Deldur and Celith would have probably killed each other by now. Having seen you guys in action I'm willing to bet that you've 1.) Gotten each other killed and very likely 2.) Have killed each other... PS: Its a clean job and somebody should do it! PPS: Aria is aware Feather is a feather... that would explain why he looks feels and acts like one. PPPS: Want to toss this out there to Liadan and Yven's player... great arguement over how to best deal with necromancers compared to orcs. To clarify: I'm joshing you guys Aria misfired a spell once too.

*Insert Rant On Necromancy Not Being Evil Here* Hate to hijack the thread and if you wish to discuss it you can start a new topic, but necromancy -is- evil and I hope you are not going to try and argue it isnt. EDIT: let me clarify, not all necromancy spells are necessarily true evil, but the practice of using negative energy to generate undead beings, i.e. create undead is evil as is the efforts to work with undead. In my opinion, anytime a caster "creates undead" they should receive evil points.

Fine, I'll be more specific.
*Insert Rant On Using Necromancy For Things Other Then Raising Dead Guys Is Not Evil Here*
Should be noted that Celith doesn't even have Animate Dead.
As for us killing each other... haven't done it yet, but we've came close a few times.

Just a note to say how well EricDK has been RPing his character Takumi. As this has involved a burgeoning romance between Takumi and Mezereon, much of which has been in elven speech, other players may not have noticed.....

Enjoyed the whole scene with Griz's hin, Garistan, Zaebros and Veshal. It was lots of fun Also the trips to the Necropolis (Torgeir, Zaebros, Evana and Quendros) and the nasty lizardmen at Tun (Kasin, Elyl, Zaebros, Luna). Though we got owned in both, it was fun Hope I didn't forget anyone.

Already finished as of a few days ago, but I greatly enjoyed Meri believing Deldur was eaten/ran away/whatever... kinda sad, but since we both knew he just respawned and logged out, it was hysterical. ;D

I really should be throwing kudos to Aria for instilling an undying hatred of feathers into Adelius ;D Oh...and to Max for being the classic example of the "If you can't do something smart, do something righteous" Paladin (aka: "Yeah its a Pit Fiend but I'm still going to...ARGG THE PAIN! AHHHHHHHH!")

Hey, props go out to those that were on the Ogrhann thing. I know some didn't get in to the roleplay that much, but I'm sure it was a learning experience for many. I just have to say one thing: People that use wands and don't know how to use them properly are now on Tori's hit list. I had great fun during that whole thing. Even having to get in the middle of the battle of wits Quen and Ailren were having. Just remember... Never, NEVER make the hin in black and purple mad. She holds grudges for a LONG time. ;D

I just want to say that I enjoyed the exploration of Margogh's lair with Kelric, Zakhary, Elisa and Bubble... man, keeping those two female elves alive was a HUGE effort. I think it took us 4-5 hours exploring the whole thing and then we almost died at the end. hehe, thanks guys! ;D

And to Gulda for having a dwarven accent even I cant understand most the time Zak's standard quote after Gulda says anything: "What? What did she just say?" *looks around confused*

Bah, the vets are too-often mentioned here.
Here's a call out to both Liadan and Adelius for handling that inevitable blow out with Yven. It was very moving, all of it really! *grin* Good job, folks.

It was a blast wandering in the Hullack with Entori last night, especially after Brin and Bel had their Wisdoms droppped to 3 and 4 LOL. It took awhile for Entori to catch on ... but between Brin getting naked to streak through the woods and Bel barehanded "Wrestling" a couple of Hullack boars, he figured it out. (side note: don't you kids at home wrestle any boars... gonna be sore in the morning now) He even had to trick us into drinking the restore potions. Just glad he caught on before we did something really stupid there.

If any of you have the logs from the Redmist trip with U'rak last week ... I'd appreciate a copy. Lost my hard drive and the logs. It was one of those "classic" trips I'd hoped to put into a post sometime. Everyone was great that day. PM me if you can help ....thanks

well see the problem was, after traveling with aria, some of the jokes don't hit me as odd anymore. when brin starts talking about streaking.... well I assumed she was joking, then she popped off the cloak, and bel started saying something about trading with goblins.. ent's seen this before... caught on then.. // I can be slow some times:)// twas good times

That just sounds funny ;D
And yes: always fun to watch Liadan slap Yven. Thankfully situation diffusing (and the fact Adelius had been maimed twice in the last two hours) kept an all out duel from starting.
Always fun to watch CN Adelius show a bit of His CE side and his LG side.

This reminds me of the gnomish Trio of Doom from my last server, all five of them habitually died fighting chickens under the leadership of the Phantom of Backwash. (Before anyone asks, I dont know what was being smoked when these characters were thought up)

Gnomish trio of doom... all five of them. Huh.
Anyway, yeah, that was pretty fun. Shame we never got a group together to take down the mummy sorcerer, but meh, we all got out in one piece, and that's good enough for me.

I greatly enjoyed taking that Mysterious Journey of Mysteriousness with Zak the other night. The crack pipe was pulled out and often as we thought up new and unique uses of the term "mysterious." I think Bel and Brin's players (and Entori's, for that matter) thought we were completely out of our minds, but it was worth it!
After all, it's not often that you see Liadan dressed head-to-toe in black running around killing things. Next time, must bring a different shield as the Lathander shield gives me away every time!

I just wanted to post an honorable mention for great role play to Lauro Sten and Adelius Draken. I have resisted temptation to post here before now because I wasn't sure I was qualified to know what great role play is. However I can't let last night go unmentioned.
Lauro your reactions to Hoot where fantastic and your character is infectious. [Wed Feb 07 22:12:30] Hoot Ruthgar: [Whisper] I was thinking about planing something... and I might need your help. [Wed Feb 07 22:12:39] Lauro Sten: [Whisper] What is it? ...
[Wed Feb 07 22:33:04] Lauro Sten: [Whisper] [removed for spoilers]... Art thou insane?
Adelius your reactions to Hoot where awesome. I especially like the following and nearly snartfed my drink all over my keyboard when I read it.
[Wed Feb 07 23:58:18] Adelius Draken: [Whisper] I know know Ar....huh! [Wed Feb 07 23:58:30] Hoot Ruthgar: [Whisper] *looks evenly* [Wed Feb 07 23:58:41] Adelius Draken: *eyes widen to almost the size of a peaches* [Wed Feb 07 23:58:49] Adelius Draken: [Whisper] Hoot you are a crazy!

Esmeralda (Arty) - Rhyllin doesn't have many associates, yet alone friends, though Esmeralda is the closest to one that he has ever known. Esmeralda holds a considerable amount of wit, charm, physical attractiveness, and tolerance that Rhyllin just can't seem to understand. Rhyllin finds himself often doing things he would normally not do around the woman as he searches furiously for a weak point, an exploit to the impenetrable mental wall that is this bard holds. He is sure to kill her once he solves the mystique behind Esmeralda, though, how long that will take is unknown. Bravo Arty, in your role as Esmeralda.
Veshal/Mord/Rath (MegaScorpion) - Ah, this man is unique. Not only does Veshal disguise himself, he has a different personality for each cloak and hood he dons. Though he is quite the smooth talker as Mord, there was no way in talking Torgeir to compromise when the barbarian was furious with him. Torgeir choking Veshal, Veshal kicking Torgeir away in the stomach, blades drawn... all were played out with dice rolls and great rp. Good job MegaScorpion for that night. Had to be one of the best player versus player conflicts I have ever played out.
Lunitari (littlelotte) - Luna holds not the beauty that is a bard rather a beauty more natural, highlighted by her piercing green eyes. The softness that is found on her face is deceiving, for she is a dangerous axe wielding barbarian and would gladly cut down orogs just for the hell of it. That, among other things, is why Torgeir is so taken by her. It was quite amusing seeing the together early in their romance, seemed like the only thing they could do together was fight. Now their bond has grown strong, and they have opened their hearts to each other. A great companion, whether it be in combat or in life, Torgeir couldn't ask for anything more. Lotte you do a great job rping the simpleness and fury that is a barbarian. I have always enjoyed traveling with you even before Tor and Luna hooked up. Good job and keep up the good work.
More to come...
