Master,
I have arrived in the Western Reaches. I currently make residence in the Thayen Enclave just south of Isinhold. It is usually quiet in Proskur, and there are many spots of shade that allow me to loiter outside during daylight. This place is taking a great toll on me and i tire easily, i am forced to enter reverie every few days to properly take in all the new things i am experiencing.
Isinhold is neutral ground, bordering against the city state of Redmist. It seems to be a place adventurers gather to enjoy each others company and find companions to aid them as they go about trying to achieve what they dream they one day will. Our order is not liked here, and people frown when i introduce myself. They call me a grave robber, but i have never robbed a grave, master. They do not understand that we are visionaries, paving the way for a better future for us all. I do not try to reason with these people, and i do not try to convince them that our studies are of good nature, but i enlighten everyone who does not know what we are trying to achieve as best i can, as i feel this is my duty.
I have met one miss Damarra, and she has given me an assignment. She is the fiance of a renegade Red Wizard, and she has arranged for me to meet with him soon. I have never worked with the Red Wizard's, master, and i know little about them. Now that i have the chance to find out more about them, it is only fair i use it. Miss Damarra has assigned me the task of spreading a few fliers around Suzail. You know how i hide well in the shadows, master, so this should be an easy task. It pays very will, and i need money.
I have met one Vyacheslav. He is a wizard and a smith. I watched him conduct an experiment today on an orc i helped him capture. He smiths steel replacements for bones, and he replaced the bones in the orc right arm with the steel ones. I am very curious to see how the orc's body will react to this foreign object inside of it. I have learned at anatomy of the orc's arm is very similar to the one of elves and humans. Vyacheslav seeks to better himself by replacing his own skeleton with one forged of adamantite. I wish him the best of luck, even though i find his attempt to grow stronger amusing and foolish.
I have met one Logan of the Sun Soul. The monastic order he is part of is old, and established to worship and follow the teachings of an old and forgotten sun god. I do not know what to make of him, but i do enjoy his company. It is with such hungry eyes and without shame he looks at me, master, but i am yours and i will be forever. His order appreciates the simple beauty of life, and they seek to spread justice. I can not understand.
I shall begin my studies soon, master. There are lots of species of plants here i have never seen before, and i am curious as to how they shrivel away as they rot. I will start with that and then move on to gnolls and the like. They are creatures i have never seen before, and i am curious as to how they will react when i take their life away. Slavery is forbidden here, but it matters not. I have seen so many humans and elves decay that my interest is with other species.
I admire, respect and love you, master.
Yours truly, Isabella.
