I will normally be on most nights between 10PM to 2 AM. If I am not on as a DM, but you need to ask a question or need help send me a Tell. My main characters are Alano Bloodwyne or Celandor Truflyt.
.Have fun...... if you are not having fun why even play? That means please leave the drama behind.
.If you have any questions or something is not clear or even if you would like to do/try something that the game mechanics of NWN does not allow... ask away.
.I try to combine NWN and PNP into an immersive setting. I may not always get it right, but I will try my best. If you disagree with a ruling let me know at the time, but hold the discussion until after the session, so we do not disrupt the rest of the players game time. I am not perfect and if I am not correct I have no problem admitting when I am wrong.
.Have your dice bag ready. I frequently will ask you to roll your stat and skills modifier. Yes, they do make a difference.
.Please try to stay in one group, or at the most two. Understand that if the group does split up I may ask one to wait to take its turn until after the other has taken theirs.
.Scouting ahead is allowed with the understanding it may be limited to a small distance in front of the party or the party needs to wait until the scout returns, which could take some time. The reason for this is I normally will not put some types of placeable and/or encounters down until needed, so as not to cause additional lag to the server.
.Sometimes, on any given night I may possess a NPC or throw something out of the ordinary to the players. It could only last for a couple minutes or longer, but there is a very good chance it is part of a larger plot and you just got slipped a little “Tidbit”. My advice would be to stay alert to some type of reference to it in the future either by me or a fellow player.
.If all else fails..... See Guideline #1.
