We're staying in the town of Glen Ellen for 3 days. We'll be hitting up Wine Tastings throughout Sonoma Valley. We're headed up northern Sonoma Valey to Dry Creek Road, it is full of boutique vineyards, and stops off at Lake Sonoma.
We're wanting to hit up some Hot Springs, any suggestions? Heard Healdsburg was good for that. (I think that was where I heard was good for that)
We're canoeing down the Russian River one dat, and doing beer tastings ar the Russian River Brewery (Wine barrel aged beer! SWEET!)
So any good eateries in the Sonoma valley, especially in Glen Ellen or Sonoma itself would be great.
We are then headed up to Klamath, and spending 3 days in a cabin just outside the Redwood Natl Park.
we're gonna do the Pontiac Solstice convertible thing up and down PCH and 101.
Any suggestions from Californians would be much appreciated!

Wine tastings, huh? Remember to sip the wine, don't gulp!
Seriously though, don't drink so much that you can't remember it later.
Congratulations. I would say more but your wife is too hot and it would be inappropriate. ;-)

If you get anywhere near Los Angeles let me know... drinks and dinner on me as a wedding gift.

If you'll be hitting the 101 then you'll be going through SF. Try and hit The Cliffhouse if your wallet and time can allow for it. But if you want a less touristy place with some awesome clam chowder and sea food in general try Tarantino's by Fisherman's Wharf. As far as Sonoma county goes, if you guys are hitting some of the wine tours, the guides will be able to point out restaurants better then I could. Oh, and for the Bay Area I can't advise this enough: Dress in layers! We've been getting some oddball spring weather here. Half the day ends up freezing your you-know-what off and the other has you turning on your AC. And cash on hand for bridge tolls! $5 to cross the Golden Gate Bridge, $4 to cross any of the others. EDIT: As for hot springs I've never been to one in California, but after a little searching I found this: www.vichysprings.com/index.html. It's off the 101 near Ukiah so it may work out for you travel wise.

Hey guys! I'm officially a married God of War now! ;D We just got back from our honeymoon, it was freaking awesome, I'll post some pics of it sometime later (once I get them on the computer) But here's a few samples from the weding day itself. It was awesome, and I am one happy camper. We're getting on the road to Montana Sunday afternoon, so I am scrambling like hell to finish building my horse trailer, pack my stuff, and get rolling. I'll be in a house for a couple months with NO internet, so I definatly won't be IG until mid to late summer at the earliest, but I will drop in on the forums to give the usual inane comment as often as I can. Take care guys! Aries ENJOY!

Yea, when she said she wanted to wear the boots I bought her under the dress...I knew she was the right gal!
(That and when she asked for a Battle Axe for Halloween)

Hey guys!
Just dropping a line to say hello, and let everyone know that I am still alive and kicking in Montana.
The summer has been great, I am really enjoying my job managing the ranch out here. My wife loves her job as well, and we have been having a blast hiking, rafting, riding the Harley, and everything else in between.
We'll be moving into our new house at the ranch by mid August, and I should be hooked up to internet then, and will try to drop in and smite someone thoroughly.
Anyways, hope you are all doing well, and it sounds like FRC2 is coming out soon! Thats exciting as hell!
Take care guys!
Aries
