He stands on the steps of Redmist's Great Hall, black armor glinting under the moonlight. His commanding voice bellows out through the area, slowly rising high into the air for all to see, a man's freshly taken head held by a fistful of hair.
"Behold free people of Redmist, the puppet Cervante has received his just due. No longer will he be your oppressor!
Even the Crown's sheep, who tried to kill you all... failed! They offered peace but sneak in assassins! They wish to take your newfound freedom under the guise of goodness.
Instead we shall rejoice this day and celebrate our independence!"

A figure stand tall and lean, the sun beats down on him as he makes no move to stray from the light but almsot welcomes it in its heat as if it has been long since he has stood out in it. He watches the display, a wolfish smile breaking his scarred face that seems as if an old battered sheild that has senn many a winter of hard living. He turns to the man beside him, a smaller man of a lean physique. "Independence he says. Noble words. A break from the sheep of Cormyr...I would like to help these people become freemen..or die with them if it comes to that. A Wolf among wolves...what say you, counsel? I think we could be useful to these fellows here with our small special army."

She slowly walked into the midst of the crowd, red hair and an enticing figure drawing more than one pair of eyes to her briefly. She watched, her eyes transfixed by the man addressing the crowd, barely aware of the bloody object in his fist. This one was dangerous on so many levels. It would be prudent to step carefully around him.
She had seen enough. As she turned to withdraw she saw them though she could not make out the words. Seeing the familiar smile, she smiled, unseen, her own sly smile gazing back to the man on the steps then returning to watch the other two a moment before slipping quietly from the crowd.
