I have attempted to start a Shaman of the Tree Ghost Tribe and have come across a stall point as Uthgardt is listed with the domain of animal, has a tribe listed as the Tree Ghost Tribe in the High Forest but I am not sure if taking Uthgardt as my deity will allow me to choose Druid as my next level. I have currently taken one level as barbarian and intend to take my next level as Druid to show her as a shaman. My question is with the FRC rules on Clerics and Druids, will the game stop me from doing this? Thank you for your attention.
From what I can garner from the Faiths and Pantheons book, only barbarians and the uthgardt tribes worship him. He does not have druids listed as potential worshippers. It only mentions clerics of Uthgar and goes on to say that each tribe does not worship Uthgar directly, but instead venerates one of the eleven aspects of him.
When I read closer, it says that clerics of Uthgar often multiclass as ranger, druid or barbarian. *scratches head* I'm slightly confused.
I would say if you intend to play a shaman of the Tree Ghost Tribe, you must choose cleric. There is nothing to prevent you from ALSO taking levels in druid if you wish though.

Well, here is my thinking on why and how i would like the character concept to be more specific. As a woman, being a cleric or true shaman would be frowned upon as almost all clerics of Uthgardt are male. I would play her more as a midwife or herbalist and being as she would be of the Tree Ghost Tribe which in the worship of Uthgardt is not really the worship of Uthgardt per say. It is the worship of the totems associated with him. Does that make sense? The F&P sourcebook and the Campaign Sourcebook both say that the individual tribes worship the spirit Totems associated with the tribes. I did not include all of this in my first question as I like to keep my pc concepts to myself but I thought this one might need some clarifaction. I should have put the herbalist down as I would play her more as a woodwitch or such like than an actual shaman which is a character type person you can find through out druid lore, much like the medicine woman of the Clan of the Cave Bear series if anyone has read those.
