Would it be ok to make an Ur-Priest (Book of Vile Darkness, 72) (Cleric roleplayed as Ur-Priest). They get their power from stealing from the gods, does that mean that it wouldn't violate the Forgotten Realms rule of Clerics require gods.
I think it might be interesting, I mainly posted this because I did'nt know if it is alowed, and if I make one I want to make sure its ok.
Currently, we are only supporting the Standard Races as per the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting. We have included subraces for these standard races, but their abilities will as of yet remain unchanged. Subraces should be taken for legitimate roleplay purposes only. For example, if you wish to play an elven archer who is a Wood Elf, you may type in "Wood Elf" in your subrace field upon character creation.
Valid races/subraces to chose from are the following:
Human Elf Moon Elf* Sun Elf Wood Elf Wild Elf Dwarf Gold Dwarf Shield Dwarf* Halfling Lightfoot Halfling* Strongheart Halfling Gnome Rock Gnome* Half-Orc Half-Elf Half Moon Elf Half Sun Elf Half Wood Elf Half Wild Elf
* = The standard subrace equivalent to the standard races outlined in the Players Handbook (PHB) These subraces are the most common type of that race to be found in Faerun.
If a race/subrace is not on this list then it is not allowable and you will be forced to make a new character. Note that there are no goblins, drow, tieflings, vampires or children on the list. That is because these are not legal selections. Please keep your selection of player race to the races/subraces on the approved list.
Knowing the answer isn't hard. Knowing the right question is the trick.
