I created started a (non-cleric) character and when asked for the name of a deity on creation I just typed one out of the standard 3.5 PH. I admit to not being 100% up on the rules FRC when I did this but figured with a non-divine it wouldn't matter much and I could do research and switch later.
However (of course) later I decided to take a level of cleric and when doing so (in the middle of the dungeon) I was asked to pick domains. I did so however now I can't find a Forgotten Realms deity to match the domains I picked (War and Healing).
Is it possible to change domains after the fact or am I going to need to restart my character? I saw the deity change service said make sure to match domains with the deity you change to.
A friend of mine told me DMs could delevel a character (and then relevel them?)...which might remove the domains I picked...but I wasn't sure if that was a requestable thing or not.
Advice appreciated, Joe PS: I searched a couple forums for answers to this and did not see anything. There is a lot of material here, so I may just be missing something. Thanks in advance for any help.

If you're not looking to change your domains, what you can do is after the server resets go to the diety selector in the welcome room. Depending on your alignment and domains it should come up with a list of currently available dieties for you to choose from.
If it comes up with no one, or the gods it lists are not to your liking, then we may consider deleveling to help you make a character to what character concept you'd like. Please understand that we don't do this on a regular basis and we usually reserve deleveling or remakes only for bugs.
The question I would mainly have is what diety were you aiming for?
I spoke to both DM ShadowCatJen and DM Greenhouse in PM. In case others are curious, I have decided on Torm unless the Deity system objects or something=) I will need to change my RP a little but not much. I will probably try and get this resolved tonight unless work owns me. Thanks much for the quick replies, -Joe
