Not sure if this has been addressed, but I have a Ranger/rogue who is always scouting and stalking in the shadows and he has a animal companion (panther) now I can sneak but its impossible for a druid or Ranger to put his aniaml Companion into sneak mode but a silly wizard or Blood mage can. Just wondering if there is any way to get my panther to sneak along with me?

In NWN singleplayer when I sneak companions and other characters sneak too just curious there might be a way to set your summons to go into sneak mode as well.
I also like lace... Lots and lots of pretty pink lace... Oh... And I like it when the DMs send very large white dragons after me or Giant Jello Cubes of DHOOM!!!
Pssst! DM Q&A... Remember that...

I just did a quick test of the single player campaign with a druid in stealth mode. When I entered stealth it did not. Perhaps entori can pm firebeard with a solution to this issue if he does something other than just having his pc enter stealth mode.

I know your henchmen in HotU will enter stealth when you do, but I'm not familiar with the animal companions/familiars doing it. However, the system is the same in theory. Theory and implementation are two different animals though.
Shadowdancer shadow is the worst. Shadows are incorporeal so they should always auto-succeed move silently checks and they can hide in solid objects (including the ground) so HiPS on a shadow isn't too much of a stretch either, but the shadowdancer's shadow just stands there like the mindless automaton NWN makes it. In D&D Shadows normally have an INT score of 6, which isn't swift but is functional.
