Ah, there was another post asking about this, but apparently it looks like we've not responded to that one either. frc.proboards37.com/index.cgi?board=dmqa&action=display&thread=1172702141The largest problem with this is, indeed, the domains. If neither of your domains match the diety you want to switch to, then you will not be able to choose it via that diety changer. Thanks to DM Greenhouse's awesome script, the only dieties that will come up will be the ones your alignment and domains match. Basically we are very hesitant to allow someone to go through a switch mostly because you would essentially need to remake the character. Usually with full character remakes we ask you to remake your character as a level one and we disable you being able to use your original character. In my opinion, you would have to start over as either a level 1 cleric of the new diety or start as a level 1 fighter to reflect the falling from grace of the character's current god. Yes, you would have to start over. Think of it this way. If your character were a level 10 Cleric of Mystra and decide (due to RP changes) to have the PC follow Bane... Bane isn't going to take your character into his arms right away and immediately grant the PC the powers of a level 10 Cleric of Bane. Like with all the gods you have to prove your worth.
