Trueseeing allows a character to automatically spot any hidden and invisible character and creature. Whether or not it allows you to see through walls OOC, i am pretty sure it does. Another DM can clarify if I am right or wrong on this point. As a PC, you cannot see around corners with this spell.

It allows you to see anything hidden, via mundane or magical abilities. It does NOT give you x-ray vision or allow you to see around corners.

If you're going by 3.5 rules, True Seeing is designed to pierce magical illusions and such - it does not automatically spot creatures hidden by mudane means because, well, you're truly seeing what's there - something hidden. Which you can't see.
... anyways, if the DMs so desire, there are numerous scripts available which modify this spell to act as See Invisibility with side-benefits (pierce Darkness spell, boost Spot checks, etc). Just adding my two cents.

It has been weighed heavily in many discussions of whether or not true seeing should be altered. It has been decided that it will not be altered. We understand that this is not in compliance with PnP standards.

From the FAQ:
Q: How does stealth and detection work on FRC? Does True Seeing reveal people hidden via stealth? A: First, in order to remain hidden, you must have cover of some sort. Furniture, nooks and crannies, trees, tall grass, and various other objects. Stealth mode is not hiding in plain sight. If you are standing in someone's line of sight with no cover, you should pop out of stealth mode. Sure, it might put you in an awkward (if not deadly) situation, but at least you'll have the surprise factor on them.
Emote what you are doing. I know this might clue the character you are following in on things because their head may twist around to look at you, but it will help anyone else watching you (players and DMs) understand what is going on.
Now for detection. It is always good to show indicators of what your character is doing. Let's say you've spotted someone behind a tree. This may mean that your character noticed a branch moving or an odd shadow falling out of place. Your characters facial features or movements are good things to describe. For example, *Glances at the tree, quirking a brow.* or *Moves to investigate.* are good because they give the person in stealth a respond to the situation.
Listening will also give you some rights to investigate situations. Branches breaking, scuffling of feet, these situations happen to the best of sneakers. In most situations, listening is more helpful. If you are on the other side of a wall, you are likely to hear someone, and VERY unlikely to see them.
Finally, there's True Seeing. While NWN game mechanics have made it so True Seeing reveals stealth, that is not so in FRC. If you've cast True Seeing, do not immedtiately assume that you can see the person crouched in the bushes nearby. True Seeing is not x-ray vision. For example, you cast True Seeing and notice a person hiding on the other side of a small building. Though you can now 'see' the person because of the mechanics of the spell, that does not entitle you to immediately make for their position or say "I see you." There's still a building between you and thus the hiding character is out of line of sight.
At that point, it may be a good idea to arrange dicebag use. Have the stealther roll a move silently check against your listen check. If they're hidden under partial cover, like a bush, have them roll both hide and move silently while you roll both spot and listen. Again, True Seeing does not mean you detect a person! If they are under cover, you should use the dicebags!
