DM Q&A: Languages: Lang. widgets & .txt of books

I just started playing on FRC this weekend and have enjoyed my time there very much. However, two things came up that I was hoping one or more of the DMs could help me with:

1. My character is a human that was raised by elves. His INT is high enough that he can have a second language. I was wondering what I need to do to get an elvish widget since, as part of his background, I have him learning that language.

2. Is it possible to get the .txt (I don't know if this is the correct extension) for some of the books/information that every character gets (e.g. /dm messaging voice throwing, etc.)? The reason I ask is because of real life obligations, my time on FRC is limited. I'd like to spend the time on there rping instead of reading the books. However, I have time to read some of the books at work ;D

a good way to start is by going to the Server Rules section and reading through all those threads. Most of the rules are in there. There will be a new post will some updated stuff pretty soon.

about the language token, sorry about when you asked me about it IG a few days ago, I couldn't find the $%^&* thing. I got it now, and can get ya IG.

As for the rules, I have gone to the forums, FAQs and other such places to read the rules. What I'm still looking for is some of the niceties you guys have on this server that I'd like to learn about (e.g. throwing your voice to you animal companion). I saw that if you examine certain items, you are told how to use them (e.g. universal dye). Those are the things I'd like to read at work (if at all possible).
