Can someone explain how tithing works to me now? i noticed several times it has been changed but not sure how it works. Seems if i donate 1000 gold or 50 gold it does the same thing.

It's not supposed to do the same thing. Could you please reply with which specific temples you have noticed this?

There's is indeed a difference between paying 50 gold and 1,000 gold. The difference should be quite obvious too.

There is a difference, not only in the amount you tithe, but who you tithe to.

but what i am saying is, when i tithed which i have only done a few times, i have gotten the same thing for tithing 50 and 1000 and was given chaitoc points of 1 both times with Tymora and i think it was the one temple out in waymoot or was it immersea? it just seemed strange is all and that is why i was wondering how it works...

We'll look into it once the server gets back online. And no, it should not produce the same results with 50 and 1000 gold.

Tithing is more or a RP thing for pious characters, or characters required to tithe their income (like Paladins) or even characters who seek the favor of gods in some matter.
Don't forget that FR is set in a polytheistic environment. Just because you hold, let's say, Tymora, as your patron deity, it does not mean you should not pay regards to Tempus for victory in battle.
I personally pay attention to players who are pious in this regard and often give them a small advantage when I remember these small things. Next time you find yourself bleeding to death, surrounded by yucky spiders, you never know that a deity may influence the creepy crawlies to step away from you, or maybe even miraculously heal you in these dire situations.
As for what tithing does precisely, I will only reveal this much, the more you tithe, the greater temporary blessing is bestowed on you. All tithing give some amount of blessing, but the strength and duration of the blessing varies.

ok...it has started working for me like it is suppose to i think. I did go and tithe a few more times and was still given the same thing whether i tithed a 1000 or 50, but now, it is working right without me giving spoilers away.
