Does search have anything to do with the loot dropped by whatever it is you are looting, be it chest, drop, or whatever? And also, i know level does, but when i am out with higher levels or lower levels, does it metter who loots? Like, if i am 10th and out with a 6th and he loots, is it geared towards him opening the chest, me, or an avergae of the two? I have been with a few people that always say let him/her loot and it seems worse then when i go by myself to a spot like that....i know that it is diffrent because we are splitting whatever it is we find...but it just seems like a lot less. Some people have said i find good loot because my search is so high...i do not think that has anything to do with it as the only reason it is high is cause i know that that damm pointy eared smelly elfin drunk is only gone for the summer...

Search has nothing to do with it. Our treasure is absolutely random.
Level is only taken into effect on certain gold drops. Everything else is just the luck of the draw.
It would be metagaming in the lowest way to assign your parties looter based on level... plus the fact that it truly doesn't matter.

HaH! i so knew it was random! take that! and you know who i am talking to! GRRRRR! Anyhow, that is always what i thought and why it does not matter who loots as long as it is somone of unquestionable character...well, at least good natured character. ;DHaH!

but we did custom write a script that would check for the player name moulinous and any character in his vault, then if it comes back positive it would give out the worse treasure.  |

but we did custom write a script that would check for the player name moulinous and any character in his vault, then if it comes back positive it would give out the worse treasure. thanks god i do not play under moulinous...ummm, i play under quadhound, yeah thats it... |
