There would be a distinct trail of glitter and confetti in purple and green throughout The House of Harp & Dragon. A sweet wrapper left upon the desk central of the room marking it Master Harps desk, On it is written only the riddle; "Kings and queens may cling to power, and the jesters may have their call. I am the most common but I can rule them all. What am I?" Alyster lounged upon his throne, and knew that him being king of -anything- was ridiculous. He held the wrapper up in one hand, turning the riddle over in his mind. He knew the handwriting, he new the glitter. It was easy to get off track in these things, but he saw it. The reference to 'call' a term used in cards, common in gambling houses, and the reference to jesters, or wildcards, the two card terms together along with them being plural informs the riddler that the Kings and Queens are cards, making the answer 'Aces". This one was easy enough. It may have been easy to go off the trail here though, since they aren't less common than other cards. The key is in the Kings and Queens part of the riddle, this card is not a 'Royal' card, nor is it the aforementioned Jesters. The answer was Aces. His mind swam in the math of a deck of cards for a few moments after, lessons learned illustrated themselves often in the cards. He had been tutored some in the numbers and games involved by the Wiz. He could see with the math involved why diviners used cards in some cases. It was elegant and it was also a game.

Upon Master Harp's desk once more a wrapper sweet in scent, the writting upon it scrawled in excitement and glee;
"Your eyes are open and I’m there. Close them. I’m there too. What am I?"
Glitter and confetti trails his establishment here, there and everywhere as though it was walked in, in strange circles.

Glitter and confetti trails his establishment here, there and everywhere as though it was walked in, in strange circles. Alyster found the wrapper with it's scrawled riddle and read from it. He knuckled his chin in thought. Well my eyelids are there whether or not I close them but somehow I doubt that's the answer.It was a path to the answer though, and it made the corner of his mouth twitch in the ghost of a smile as he thought about it. "The Darkness" He took up his quill, dipped it into his inkwell and returned the message to the Bardling Jester Queen: Sendai: The Darkness remains whether or not we see it, but in equal and opposite measure, so then does the light my dear.

This time upon Master Harps desk was a snake, fashioned carefuly out of sweet wrappers within each fold was held a small handful of confetti and glitter, the center of which was a riddle;
"Silently I drink and dive in fluids dark as night. I beat the mighty warrior but never in fight. The black blood in my veins your thirst for knowledge slakes. My spittle is more venomous than that of poison snakes."
The rest of the building had not one trace of her prescence, perfume nor her signature trail but for the snake itself.
