sorry in the earlier form of the server consent by both parties did have to be given. Then since then it has evolved into non-consent. Now this does not mean you can be a jackass PKer of course, but by the time a player puts you on dislike (doesn't mean they're going to do anything) but you know "something" could/could not happen.

Then in that case the rules posted here on the forums needs to reflect that to avoid any further confusion. Seems there was quite a lengthy discussion on things and I will admit to disagreeing with a lot of it, but that's just me. Thanks for the response!

One other point to make in regards to PvP is the use of the 'taunt' skill. If you wish to taunt another PC you must do so through Roleplay. The "taunt" skill is OOC game mechanics that can not only be used to FORCE another character into a PvP they may be trying to avoid, it also makes it appear to any observer that the one who was 'taunted' started the fight. (as no one else is privy to the 'skill' being used) It's a cheap tactic and while it is 'okay' for use with NPC's...it is unacceptable to force other players into a PvP through the use of OOC game mechanics. Thus if you wish to taunt, you need to taunt through roleplay. S'anka!
