In Valkurs Roar it was another day
Where people labored and children play
Guards on patrol awaiting their pay
What happens next? Who can say?
Motherless children rest in their bed
The caretakers Stories from books have been read
Tales of deeds and a heroic time
Evil Villains to slay and Mountains to climb
The children restless aching something new
Bedtime stories redundant and ran through
Too bad we can't hear a brand new story
One of heroes , the fallen , and battle glory
A princess please save me in dire need!
A village , no hope, no mouths to feed
Where is the good fellow or righteous dame?
The ones who are humble and say no to fame?
These are the stories we want to hear
A new chapter for orphans before they tear
Yet they all sigh and tuck blankets to chin
We'll take anything even stories of hin!
What's that noise a rap rap upon the door
A creak open and a wind rushed Roar
Is that a familiar face the children eye
A woman of status a priestess but why?
The Captain of the Guard in Churchly dress
Black, White, and Gold and hair without mess
She sits down with a basket full of fruits
A few books, a candle, and knee high boots
I heard your plea of something grand
A tale perhaps that's hard to understand
Guard Captain I am but a priestess too
Of The Lord of Knowledge , yes it's true
Let me tell you tales of Wild Magic
Children Corrupted by Vampires, yes it's tragic
Or the family of old who had a curse
Hounds of Chaos, Doras Dears the Worst!
Do not worry , or do not fret
Perhaps your family was there I would bet
They were your heroes along with others
Protected you all and did many wonders
I will tell you this it was not easy
To see many fall it makes ones heart wheezy
Many gathered together friends and foe
Tasks to be done to end the woe
Do you all wish to learn of this tale to behold?
I tell you now it's not very old
These words I speak will need to be chaptered
A lesson learned each time and well enraptured
Huddle around all you children to hear
But please be bold and without fear
For this tale is intense many lives were bought
Children would you like to know of the Planarnaut?
Where people labored and children play
Guards on patrol awaiting their pay
What happens next? Who can say?
Motherless children rest in their bed
