Vall Greiryn
tw: burns, scars
Vall Greiryn grew up in the rural town of Waymoot to a single mother, she worked hard at her trade and provided for them, and he lived a normal human upbringing
This was until rumour started going around town about the true origins of Vall's creation, a woodland tryst between his mother and an elf
All of a sudden Vall was left out of his usual group of friends, their parents superstitious about elvenkind.
Despite this, Vall soldiered on, spending more time in solitude, especially at night under the moon and stars.
Despite the town's main temple being of Lady Luck Tymora, he felt a kinship towards the ever-watching moon, worshiping Selune as he grew.
He joined the town militia to prove to his fellow townsfolk that there was no need for mistrust, and though he would defend the town in its times of need, the stigma still hung around him.
Vall had always revered the travelers, merchants, and adventurers that made their way through town. They seemed so much more worldly, free spirited, and all had a heavy coin purse.
One day there was a posting for an openings as a caravan guard, as one of theirs had taken sick on the road. They were headed for High Horn with weapons and supplies.
Vall jumped at the opportunity, hoping this was his chance to make something of himself, and maybe learn more of his elven ancestry as he traveled.
He stayed on with these merchants, following the High Road, until arriving at Greatgaunt. There in the Regal Griffon Inn, he earned his stay in the common room by helping Sam out with a rat problem in the pantry.
Sam warned him he'd need to keep the job between them as he'd need an adventuring charter if he wanted to do this kind of thing officially.
Enjoying the excitement (and the treasures he found) when delving the cave system behind Sam's storeroom, he decided he'd give adventuring a go.
He headed to the Purple Dragon border outpost nearby in search of official documents, and in exchange for dealing with the local goblin tribe, he received his adventuring charter.
Recent Observations
Recently Vall has been sighted in Valkur's Roar, visiting the Barren of Retribution
tw: burns, scars
Vall is a young man with sharp features and mid-length straight black hair that rests around his shoulders. His eyes are dull green like the woods.
His head is currently wrapped in a bandage, covering the left eye and top of his head. He walks with a slight limp to his left side.
Given close inspection, you may notice his ears are ever-so-slightly pointed at their tip, this being the only real indication of his elven blood.
Given his rough edges, and simple fashion, it's easy to assume he's neither noble, or from the city. He mostly wears dull greens, browns, and his armour is without embellishment. He wears a scabbard at his side, containing his longsword.
He looks like a traveler, always carrying a pack with rope, bedroll, and tent attached to the side, as well as a shield when not in use.

Recently Vall has been sighted in Valkur's Roar, visiting the Barren of Retribution
He's in Kale's bad books for theorising the "secret ingredients" of Sam's Special a little too loudly
He has been limping on his left side as of late
He tries to hide his face under hood, but those who have seen it down know his head is heavily bandaged, covering his left eye
He wasn't wounded when he first came into town
He was seen by a local at the Greatgaunt bathhouse changing his bandages, he bears heavy burn scars
