*over the next tenday, postings slowly go up in Greatgaunt, Valkur's Roar, Eveningstar, Arabel, Skull Crag, Waymoot and Dhedluk*
For those who wish to view the last will and testament of Master Alamor Aldrain’Vendorin, copies can be found with your local magistrate. For those who wish to read the original copy and wish to test the validity of said document, find Mynian Copperhand within the city of Valkur's Roar. Either within the Great Hall or Talbot's Table Inn.
Please know and understand that some of Master Aldrain's possessions currently rest at the bottom of the Wyvernwater in the ruins of Cloudstone Palace and can not be claimed. May the Seldarine and the gods of Brightwater bless his soul for his sacrifice.
*those who check in with the town's magistrates (such as the courthouse in Suzail, the Red Ravens in Greatgaunt) they find a copy of the following*
"I, Alamor Aldrain’Vendorin, of good sound and mind, write this last will and testament, to be followed in the event that I leave my mortal coil and no longer am capable of continuing this life as a mortal being, with the aid of goodly faiths. It is my request that those reading this leave my possessions and owner ship to those specified, as well as inform them of my care for them in most regards, and while I have not had a easy life, that I have not had one I would have changed my purpose or goal in life, and that while I have outlived most that I cared about.. that I would ask that they continue there lives not in sorrow, but in doing that which gives there life purpose and meaning.
To the first of my possessions I would ask that thirty two thousand of my gold and coin I have remaining I request that two thousand be separated and given to each of my fourteen children (yes adopted), and two god daughters, to aid them in building there lives, and to thank those that already have built those lives, if I agreed with them or not at all points of it. I have loved each of you and it is my prayer that you go on to live lives that you find enjoyable and add to this world. I am proud of all of you.
The remaining gold that I possess, in person, and in accounts I would request is given to Mynian Copperhand of Valkur's Roar in her efforts to aid the city and its poor, a request I will detail below.
Of my personal possessions, of my three silver cloak clasp, holding a dragon and a wolf, I request to be buried with one, and the remaining two, be split, one to my son Jay, and another to my son Valkan. They will know what these items are and of there importance not in wealth or power, but to the family. To my son jay as well I leave my herbal pouch that bears the white wolf, and to my son Valkan I leave my falchion to remind him of all the battles we fought, if for glory, gold, to push back the evil monsters of this world, man or beast, or simply for the challenge, remember me when you look upon it and enjoy your life, my son. To my god daughter Madison, I leave my books of the forge, and all of my equipment to create the works she so loves to create, you have been a wonderful god daughter, despite our disagreements, and I hope that whatever lad takes your hand one day can see that as much as I can.
Of the rest of my coin and healing supplies, I request if any is recovered, to be given to Mynian Copperhand of the city of Valkur's Roar, and its city council, to be used in aiding the poor of the city to build a better life. While the medical supplies are likely to be of great use to those there, it is my hope that the coin, both raw, and gathered by selling the rest of my personal stock for The Adventurer's Call products for sell will go to aiding those of the slum build more of there lives, not simply to survive the next year, but to aid them in recovering from the hardships of it, and rise above it to a greater height as I once did. Many think that the poor of a city are lazy, this is true only for a small number, and many are simply those who have not found the cleverness or recognized the opportunity to rise above the slum lord forcing position to steal all they have, the injuries from war or hardship, the loss of ones ability to have strength and now oppressed, it is these I wish aided if at all possible, it is not a easy task, it requires work with individuals in there personal lives, but it is one that rewards a hundred fold. Teach a man to fish, as it were.
To The Adventurer's Call, of my own wears for sell, let them be sold as they can be, to pay for the projects above. Any legal power or otherwise I hold over the company, may it be evaporated, and if allowed, let the company name be used by any that desire more than to make gold, but to change the realm for the good of all, and to use there wealth to aid in the defense of the realm. Like any order, or calling, such things can and likely will be abused and manipulated if given a opportunity, and time will always give such, but while it may let it simply be a word of the merchant who cares for there fellow man.
Of my remaining possessions, may they fall to the hands of my children within the area upon my time of death, and what they desire of the objects at that time. What remains, please use for the benefit of the city of Valkur's Roar as outlined two paragraphs above. It is my hope that my passage to Sehanine is in a way that matters, and that I have indeed lived up to the expectations of my Heros, as I hope others live up to the expectations of the Hero's and those who seek to do the right thing that they see. May the gods of all that is right, be praised.
