Good day council of Greatgaunt, I write to suggest additional signage regarding the bartering of goods amongst local adventurers.
There appeared to be an impression today that a merchant's license is not required outside of the town, or for first time trades, or within the borders of the kingdom if it were not done within earshot of local law enforcement. I advised another, a large halforc with massive biceps, of the requirements to purchase a merchant's license in order to sell goods. This was in earshot of Bentin and Waric.
The adventurers that were suggesting otherwise were a white haired elf in yellow garb, a red haired woman in white armor, an armored man with a green glowing staff.... and I do not recall the other, possibly an elf?
My apologies if I am mistaken, but to do business with no license appears to remove oneself from the systems put in place.
