Hello anyone reading,
Just game across someone in-game that told me a DM has the power to add languages to your character if you failed to do so at creation, is that true?
If it is, how do we go about calling upon the power of the almighty DM's to rewrite history?

If this is a new character (like still level 5 or under, and not a restarted character, and actually recently started) and you just want to pick up the character's starting INT-based bonus languages that you missed grabbing at the border, a DM may be able to help you make the correction without going through the entire "learning a new language" process. You can ask a DM for help with this in the DM channel in-game. If it's a character that's been around awhile (either time-wise or level-wise, whichever comes first), they'll need to find a tutor and begin the process of studying a language in-character. Please reach out to me and I'll discuss the steps for tracking language study progression. (It basically consists of checking the mechanical requirements of the PC and players sending me logs of the ongoing language lessons. I'll go over that in more detail as needed.)
